We are so sorry to hear this, our sincere condolences to his friends & family. He was a wonderful guy, and a real artist with a chainsaw - he carved our first 3 logs in the Park, the Dragon, the Welcome Log and the Train

It’s going to be a colourful day. Looking forward to working with the team from The Wisdom Hospice today.

Cannot wait to make some land art! Long grass, twigs, stones, leaves and seeds. Two days of Land Art with our friends over the other side of the creek.

Last Newt survey yesterday evening for this season, good numbers recorded with lots more female Great Crested Newts this time all of which should be laying eggs.
Hope you all enjoyed the sessions they have been very successful and it fantastic to have records of the local area.
We will be looking at works over the autumn to improve the habitat further.

Happy Easter, I hope you have had a great few days. The task day will not be on tomorrow. We will be back to normal next week.

Some pictures from today many thanks to the 212 people that registered at the check in desk. We took £77 pounds in donations towards future events at the park, which is fabulous.
A Teddy Bears Picnic will be the next theme when we work with KCC Children’s centres.
We was so lucky with the weather this morning, it was a great way to kick off the season.

User

We are set up and ready to go, please note carpark will close at 1pm

User

One more survey session left for this season 26th April come along and explore these amazing beasts.

User

What a gem! We have never visited before but we will be coming back!!

We have found this country park a while ago and it's the one the kids keep asking to go back to.

The play area is great for all ages and big playing fields too. Running tracks and bike trails are great too.

Always clean and tidy.

Great events happen too we have been to 3 now and have all upcoming ones on our calendar.

Very welcoming staff at events and so helpful.

Highly recommend to anyone

Just wanted to say a really big thank you to Kris and Linda for the Woodland Craft morning that my family went on today. It was incredibly well run, very informative and really enjoyable. We came home having had a brilliant couple of hours out in the fresh air and armed with new skill. Kris was an excellent tutor and very knowledgeable. We're really looking forward to coming back again soon. Thanks again.

A little bit of heaven in Swale, so many undiscovered places. I often walk with Coco and Fudge our Puggies from Grovehurst to Holy Trinity church via the pond and love the route from Gas road all the way around. Even walked to the Steam railway station but never got as far as the Sheppy crossing as yet. Always walk at least 3 miles a day. I think they should have an outward bound course for Swale councillor's as I know some do not appreciate what we have on our door step. Keep up the good work!
