Great skill is what I find most interesting but being tough as hell adds that “X Factor.”
Canelo showing he has both like other Mexican legends such as Chávez and Morales.
A great “chin” comes from a combination of various factors, not just level of Mexican-ness/toughness.
... Strength of the neck, traps and jaw muscles Good balance and stance Being used to being dizzy (there are legit methods of developing this 🤪) Punch resistance Reactions Knowing how to “take the weight out of the punch” Psychological aspects Etc etc.

With perfect timing I got to watch it live (on my phone) as I walked back from work in the early hours of yesterday morning, but here it is for anyone who missed it or wants to rewatch it. Very skilful match up. 👊

For Sale: Cleto Reyes 4lb, 6lb, 8lb, 10lb set of the best medicine balls you can imagine. Very rare and superb quality - nothing like the modern versions (these ones are not old in age but are old school design). £200.

Not a common shot, but one of my favourites. Executed to perfection here. 👊😎

Finally got everything sorted and a few places to train depending on people’s needs.
Here’s an outdoor option just by Holborn. It is about as good an outdoor option as you could possibly find, with a covered pavilion area, places to warm up and sprint as well as a really good cafe and toilets right next to it. I tried it out last weekend and it’s perfect. Even has a smooth floor so it won’t rip up your boxing boots.
Also waiting on a custom made punch bag stand for at home to... hang my variety of Cleto Reyes bags off. Plus got the use of some great free weights equipment and a WaterRower, not to mention all the variety of top notch Reyes, Winning and Grant pads I’ve got. On top of all that I’ve got some great tools and methods for measuring your strength and fitness and keeping track of the great progress you’ll make.
All that is great and I’m proud of the collection of kit that I have (it’s pretty damn good!) but most importantly I’ve also got the experience and the knowledge from constantly learning over the years. Everything is ready to go right now. See you soon!

SOLD. I’ve got this for sale if anyone is interested. In mint condition and barely used as I tend to spar without headgear. It’s a Winning FG-2900.

Here’s a free boxing lesson - definitely watch the Frampton/Warrington fight instead of Chisora/Whyte rematch.

Just in case you somehow still aren’t a massive fan of Tyson Fury...

User

A rare occasion for my TV to be on but there’s a very good reason for it: Luis Ortiz now and then Fury/Wilder in a bit.

User

I’ve been pretty quiet here but it’s for a reason. I’ve known for a while that I’m going to be moving home and that it didn’t make sense to push for things in the current local area. But in a couple of weeks I will be moved and will get things established properly. Details to follow...

Superb skills!

One of the coolest boxing videos ever!

People don’t usually understand the true importance of great footwork. Here is a great example of why it is key. Usyk moves back just enough to cause Bellew to miss AND precisely maintains his stance so as to be perfectly poised, head balanced, vision focussed -everything right- to come straight back at the out of position Bellew. Both shots landing beautifully, knuckle on jaw. The result speaks for itself, but it was his footwork that made it all happen.

Usyk is fighting this Saturday night. Must watch. Superbly skilled and great to watch.

Looking forward to seeing his professional debut. Superb skills and a real nice lad.
