Gcap Performance

A neat little button we installed in Doug's famous green machine - switchable high and low boost control.
We have set this up so the car will provide low boost on start up. This allows for a more controlled and relaxed drive delivering circa 330bhp.
At the press of this button (and some red illumination) the car delivers full boost bumping the power back up to 430bhp for the more spirited drive!
... The Corsa VXR does not have a sport button and Doug was always keen to have something similar, whether it be limiting boost or offering different throttle response like the Astra counterpart. We came up with this solution which has bode well and even has a nicely laser engraved button with an apt Nurburgring logo for a Nurburgring edition vehicle!

Brand new BMW 440i B58 in for stage 1 remap.
Standard 321bhp / 450nm Tuned 425bhp / 590nm
... That's gains of +104bhp / +140nm from only software! These B58 engines are fantastic to tune.
We also recalibrated the sports display to go inline with the new performance and gave the vehicle a full service including updating the DSB and service history via the key.

Another Volkwagen Golf R in for a custom tune, this car is completely standard and the owner didn't want to change any hardware. This is only a year old with under 5000 miles seeing great gains with a few extras crackles on over run.

A Porsche 911 (997) recovered to us stuck in 3rd gear. After having several garages report gearbox fault and sky high quotes, this customer found us via a recommendation from a Porsche enthusiast group.
We immediately recognised this problem as a failed gear linkage cable. We got the car in, replaced the cable and aligned them correctly using the correct tooling and now we have a happy customer and a happy Porsche.
