Really good music, awesome cocktails and very friendly staff!

The place is perfect even going alone like I did just to meet new people and have fun.

I also litterally fell in love with a barlady there, she is so beautiful!!

Good bar, decent music

From the first time I went there I loved it!! It’s now one of my favorite clubs/bars in London, music is lovely and so is the staff! I spend in here most of my weekends!!! �

Came here with a group of friends on a Friday night and we had the best time! The venue itself is just really cool and the staff are super friendly and seem like the enjoy being there! The DJ's have the music on point and had everyone up and dancing. We will be booking again!

I was here recently and the night was fab! However, the toilet attendant in the ladies toilets was very aggressive towards me (and other people) wanting money for handing out a sheet of kitchen roll to dry my hands. I don't expect to go to a public toilet and be harassed for money. It wasn't nice at all �����. Everyone else at the bar was lovely which made the night enjoyable!

I had my 21st birthday here and loved it! Staff were friendly and helpful while I was booking it all online - even after constantly messaging them leading up to the night to make sure all was well!! The actual night was just brilliant - great music, great drinks - tho not the cheapest! (😜)

All in all a great night

Nice music, AWFUL service! Waited for 30 minutes on the bar to be served, 4-5 people behind it seemed to not know what they were doing and kept ignoring us no matter how hard we tried to get their attention. Also, they were out of mineral water on a Sat night!

When I made the booking I was told it would be R&B downstairs but it was house only the whole night. The dj was rude. Upstairs was good but packed because the music was better. Alice the barmaid charged us service charge without asking and then refused to give our £20 back.

My friend had phoned the day before to confirm the boys could play beer pong, this was disputed when we got there & we had to speak to the manager in order for them to play. I was overcharged for drinks when the sign clearly said they were half price, the manager refused to honour the advertising on the wall. He was rude & aggressive & seemed to have little experience in customer service. I won’t be returning.

The staff is rude and doesn’t know how to deal with customers. A friend of mine was dragged outside of the bar, because someone pushed her and she dropped a drink. When I asked to speak to the manager to try to get an explanation, I was mistreated and they put me out of the bar as well. Never been to a place where the staff seems to think they can get away with everything. Definitely a place to avoid.

Ordered a double vodka tonic ...staff opened a new bottle spilled it all over the bar then charged me for it ���� I paid 12 for a double when I got a single.....brilliant

Got a pint of heinekin and a lime and soda, £5,

Then I got just a pint, £5.70!!!! How do you work that out. Robbing twats

Drink prices extortionate �

Booked an area at Gem for my 21st Birthday drinks. Firstly, we found the lady on the door quite unwelcoming. The Service was absolutely appalling. It took over an hour to get our drinks as after waiting for 30 mins our server came over and said our order had been forgotten. We then waited a further half hour after that to get our drinks (that never arrived at our table)from the bar. When I mentioned this to the manager all we got was an extended happy hour (of 40 minutes) which by this time we wanted to leave. Very disappointed

Attended gem bar on 11th december for our work christmas party. This is the second year we have booked here.

2016 we were offered for £30pp a finger buffet, a glass of prosecco on arrival and a free drinks token each.

2017 we were offered the same package but discounted to £25pp for being returning customers.

In 2016 the food was plentiful. In 2017 for a party of 15 we were given about 5 plates of food with roughly 8 things on each plate. There was simply not enough given the cost. Half a glass of prosecco was given to each guest when we asked for it and then the drinks tokens never arrived. When we asked the lady on the night she said we didnt get drinks tokens with our package and to email the sales team.

I emailed the sales team on 12 december who said they would look into it and get back to me. I have sent 2 chaser emails since and it is now 2 weeks since our party and i have received no reply.

A copy of our payment receipt and package agreement was requested but again no reply.

It is common courtesy to reply to complaint emails especially when you have received £500+ for booking and that's minus the bar bill we all spent. It is simply not on.



Aside from these points, bar service on the night was extremely slow. The bar staff have lost their ability to smile and the drinks are overpriced even for the area they are in.



Would not return.

Apparently this place organised a competition and there was only 2 people who signed up for it: me and my friend. They said they will choose a winner on Friday night.No one has been contacted. I emailed and texted them and didn’t receive a reply. I used to love this place but not anymore. Would not recommend it. Sorry
