The main focus of George Carruthers & Sons Ltd is to supply fresh fruit and vegetables to our customers throughout Scotland. We currently supply shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels, council commercial units, schools, nursery's and some of the largest secondary wholesalers in Scotland. We Pride ourselves on delivering an extensive variety of high quality produce to the customer exactly when and where they want it, we have always recognized the importance of tailoring our service to each customer's individual needs.

We are extremely passionate about food, we go to enormous lengths to find the freshens and most seasonal produce. our main buyer Alex Fairfull who has over 25 years experience in the fruit and vegetable trade and is also director of the company continues to visit all of our suppliers both with in the UK and outwith, regularly visiting Holland, France, Italy, Egypt and Morocco to maintain the highest quality and build strong international import links.
