BMW 318 is. In preparation for this weekends Welsh Sports And Saloon Car Championship races, I started the engine today and immediately heard a bad rattling noise from the front of the engine. The timing chain tensioner has seized and wedged itself into a wear groove on the back of the slipper. So a few new parts and a bit of time required before Saturday !
