Our first 'food love story' is here: A sumptuous combination of classic Parma ham and Fontina Cheese, combined with locally sourced Yorkshire Asparagus; all wrapped in filo pastry. The only thing better than watching it being prepared in stop motion is actually eating it.

food was gorgeous, apple and pear crumble and custard to die for!! mmm... excellent service also. Highly recommend it.

Went for the early bird menu, as a birthday treat, the menu was limited, but everything looked good.

The food was excellent, no one in our small group had anything bad to say, which was good.

Service became a little slow as it got busy, but thats to be expected.

We went for the early bird menu, which sometimes can be a disspointment but not in this case. The Food was amazing. The service was good and a good atmosphere. We will be returning soon.

We called in on the off chance last night, after leaving the Crime Festival. What an absolute gem to find, great atmosphere, with efficient & friendly staff. As for the food, i had what was undoubtedly the best & most delicious pizza I have ever tried!!

Visited the coffee shop on john street on a cold lunch time. They had a offer on soup, coffee and ice cream £5 the soup was of a high standard the cappuccino lovely and so was the price. The place has a lot of potential.

Oh my gosh, what a fabulous, authentic Italian restaurant, fantastic food, exceptional service, buzzing atmosphere with the restaurant owner taking time out to chat and bring over liqueurs, 5 stars from us!!

My dad has been in hospital in Harrogate for the past 3 months. I come to this restaurant most weekends that i am down. They will always squeeze me in somewhere, the food is fresh and of a superb quality. A difficult time is made a bit easier with Brio. Thanks folks.

Marco and his team looked after us really well. Great ice cream, try the pistachio! And the pizza was delicious.

Managed to get squeezed in on a last minute booking, so glad we did, the food was really lovely. I ate from the early bird menu which was great value and my partner had steak and thought it was one of his favourites

I'm not local to Harrogate but this restaurant would make me want to move to Harrogate. Great service, plenty of choice and amazing flavoursome cuisine.

I was in a band playing at this place at the weekend. We normally get sarnies or lasagne but they gave us the full 3-course works. It was absolutely superb & the staff were very friendly (despite being rushed off their feet). Thanks very much.

I love this restaurant all year round but we’ve just been again for our annual early evening break from all day dance show rehearsals and performance at the Royal Hall. 8 mums and 15 girls aged 9-14. We’d booked for 5 ish but overrunning dress rehearsal meant we didn’t arrive til nearly 6pm. 23 meals, including desserts for the kids - all freshly cooked and including two pasta dishes that are old favourites but not currently on the menu. 43 minutes later everyone was fed, watered, happy and the very reasonable bill was paid. We were back at the theatre by 6.55. Absolutely outstanding and I have no idea how Brio does it every time �

I came along with a group from Rock Up and Sing last night and yet again the food and service was fantastic. The food is very tasty and such good value and the atmosphere is brilliant. Thank you to all concerned. See you again soon.

Had a great meal and a great experience here tonight! I had family over from Blackpool and London, there were 10 of us in total, so with it being a Saturday night, I made sure to book in advance. We arrived in plenty of time to make our 7.30 booking, only to find out that I'd booked our table for 5.30 instead! They'd even tried to call me, and only then noticed the missed call.



Unbelievably lucky for us, a booking for six hadn't turned up and so the put another table together to seat us all. We were all really impressed and grateful that they went to all that trouble to look after us. Our meal was fantastic, and the service was great.



I'd highly recommend this restaurant if you want a great meal in lovely surroundings with great service.

Fantastic food, great service, can not fault it. The melon and prosciutto was amazing. Fritto Misto - one word sums it up - FABULOUS. A ravioli featuring asparagus, topped with a butter and sage sauce was tantalising on the tastebuds Quite the best ice cream anywhere bar none. We highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Fabulous anniversary meal last night. Delicious food, great service.

Editing my previous review which was a 1* to the now current 5* review, Marco went over and above to ensure that me and my partner had a wonderful evening. Service was absolutely worlds apart from the last time we visited, the personalised touch was there and the restaurant was thriving. Tonight has been an absolute pleasure to dine at Brio’s and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody. We will be back �

Eaten here several times now and always had amazing food and lovely service, they are super welcoming to children too. I’ve tried their pizza several times and always find it authentic, as a vegan, even without cheese they were delicious, BUT now they even have vegan mozzarella!! It was the best vegan mozzarella ever! Thank you Brio!! And if you go there don’t miss out on their courgette fritters: they were delicious �

Been going for a long time here, never disappointed, they cater for me I am Coeliac. Food lovely, nice and spacious, friendly staff, price is very reasonable.

Arrived in Harrogate looking for somewhere to dine. Only five minutes walk from the Majestic Hotel we had a lovely meal. Would really recommend it, enjoy

Arrived in Harrogate last night (staying at Scotia House - literally next door to the restaurant) Even though we'd not booked a table the staff were very accommodating and found us a table straight away. My Sister is a coeliac and also lactose intolerant but they were able to cater for her requirements too.

The food was absolutely divine! All home cooked to perfection; the 3 of us ordered Lasagne (x2) and Duck in Grape Sauce. Absolutely beautiful food! And the service was superb too. Will definitely be returning and we will be recommending this restaurant for sure. Thank you guys!

Lovely place for a meal out. Very nice staff and our food was gorgeous.

Great pizza. However, was looking for a bit of a normal type of a pizza instead of posher type. There was a little toddler running around free and screaming disturbing people. If those things are fixed it would be a pretty perfect experience.

Very busy, very noisy, difficult to have a conversation. Service very good as was the food.
