The Met Office have issued a "Yellow Warning" with regards rain for Monday and Tuesday. As you will see from the picture below there is a chance of local flooding affecting roads and othere forms of transport .
Please allow yourselfs more time for taking any journeys (dont phone up at 8.55am to get you to a doctors appointment at 9am (yes it does happen)).
With this bad weather there will be a knock on effect to our service, more folk will want taxis/private hire vehicles, so... between 730am - 930am and then again 230pm to around 6pm you maybe advised that the wait will be longer.
For all pre-bookings we will get to you to the booking time as near as possible. If you used your mobile phone then watch out for the text message. If calling from a landline you can call back up and if your car has been dispatched the system will advise you of this.
If you do book at car and then do not need it please call the office and cancel the booking, this saves the driver from turning up ang getting what we call a NO SHOW, it also means they can go and pick up another hire.
Last but not least, please dont phone 3 companies and hope that one of them will pick you up. If we find anyone doing this then the driver will pull off the job (we would hope the other comapnies driver would pull off as well) and you will be blockeed from using our service. This is only fair to our drivers and other customers.
Please be safe folk and again leave extra time for your journey and dress accordingly.
