Just got back from the Sahara Trek and I loved it, tough going at times but I had a fantastic group of fellow trekkers who, as a solo traveller, gave me great support and we have had a good few laughs along the way, the trek leader Teri, is a legend and could not fault all the ground crew, especially the chefs, the food was amazing and they even made me a cake for my birthday, looking forward to the next challenge ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Just got back from a great trek in the Sahara (Feb 18). A fantastic trip made better by my fellow trekkers who were all new to me. Laughter all the way and not a whinge despite our rough and ready environment. The trip was expertly led by our Global Adventure guide Teri, a calming influence and storyteller extraodinaire! Great credit must be given to the wonderful local ground crew who made the logistics and daily support seamless. Thoroughly recommended, we are all ready for our next trip hopefully in 2020.

I recommend this to anyone with a passion for cycling, (hopefully it will be cooler for you though)!

Just done the 50k TrekFest The Beacons with my walking buddy Alison. Wow! What an experience! The place, the weather, the people...all fabulous. GAC obviously know how to plan a challenge like this and were very professional in their delivery but also very human, personable and engaging throughout. We felt safe with the Mountain Rescue team in attendance as well as the GAC team. Our only feedback would be that the last 16k are very long and very boring at a time when your motivation is probably at its lowest point. Understand why we need mainly flat, easy walking to finish, however, it would be more uplifting to see the regular route markers with countdown "ks" on them, e.g. 15k to go, 10k to go, 5,4,3,2,1 etc and maybe a Marshall or two walking out to meet trekkers coming in on those last 4/5k like they had done through the day. Also our health info wasn't included on the reverse of our armband insert as it has been in the past and as the guy doing the pre-trek briefing obviously thought it was. But on the whole, gorgeous food, fab massage when finished, lots of water & snacks on route. Can't fault it really just niggly bits that don't detract from our enjoyment of the overall event. I’m just back from the Iceland Remote Highlands Trek which was simply stunning! The whole experience was well organised, well supported and with the most wonderful guides. Jim Reynolds is a superstar as were the guides from Artic Adventures. Plenty of food was provided and we felt safe at all times even though we had horrendous weather on the first day. I would def recommend and use GAC again.

I've recently come back from walking The Great Wall of China! ÔŅĹ It was such an amazing experience and one I won't ever forget! Teri, Martin, Peter and Michael were brilliant tour guides and everything was so well organised! I would definately recommend this trip to anyone considering it and the company itself. I enjoyed my time with GAC so much that I'm currently in the process of planning my next trip to Cambodia in November 2019!!! ÔŅĹ

I've just done the TrekFest Peaks with the 50k walk (signed up solo) and I cannot really fault GAC... From when I first registered and beyond they proved to be efficient, organised and friendly. Over the weekend they continued to impress me with their organisation. Loved the Event Village with inflatable bar (although were there any bitters on offer?!), I didn't partake in the BBQ as I am not a big eater. But loved sitting on the hay bales and chatting to people. Marshall's abundant on route, always friendly, happy, smiling and supportive. Loved the cheer squad as I returned, with the glass of bubbles. As a solo walker I can highly recommend them for not feeling like you are alone all weekend (but can easily retreat to tent when socialising gets too much!!). I'll definitely be back next year, and the year after, and the year after etc... :D

I recently did the Great Wall of China trek with Terri and Martin from GAC. They were absolutely amazing, couldn't of helped more. I highly recommend going to China with GAC.

I have just returned from the ‚ÄėTrek the Canyons ‚Äė trip. What an amazing week! Superbly organized and well led by our guides who took great care of us from start to finish. My friend and I did this for our 60th birthdays this year and it has been a fantastic experience. I can‚Äôt fault it at all.

I have just been on the Remote Highlands Iceland Trek and it was without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life. Our team leader Jim was excellent, super friendly and always in high spirits even in the torrential wind and rain! The guides from Arctic Adventures were wonderful too, I always felt safe and comfortable and the trip was well planned and even better than I’d hope for. I will definitely be trekking with them again!
