Two tons of specialist coarse and medium coarse sand for lime works and some putty, prompt and NHL'S.

I have taken a week off work this week to sort things out and one of them things is the back of the van. All nice a neat for now.
I have a big delivery turning up tomorrow from Lincolnshire lime and Lime stuff. Two tons of specialist white sand in coarse and medium.... NHL limes including 3.5 and NHL 5. Buxton limestone putty. Chalk putty. Roman cement ( promt ) Tempo. Earth born paint.
Got to keep the stock levels up. 👊

This is an original timber plate beam taken out from an external facing wall from in between the brick work and mortar course! Original to the house which is around 130 years old.. For some reason it was common to have a timber plates every 6 to 8 course in the brick works ? Which on external walls have rotted away from wet rot.

I did this pebble dash back in 2010 and these photo's was taken yesterday.
Render bands with bull nose external angles and Canterbury spar dry dash finish to match next door.

I have this little beauty to sort out soon! A little job I looked at today. I did the one next door about 8 years ago. Small jobs are the best jobs 👊

Finally the scaffold is down. There is a few small discrepancies but over all a very good job. Small jobs are the best jobs 👊

My next project. External lime stucco work. Run insitu moulds. Ashlar panels.

You can't beat a brand new float, absolutely lovely to work with but the tables change when it comes to a brand new trowel, as you need to work them in for a while to suit your plastering finishes.
My rendering trowel is about 17 years old now and it is not a cement finishing trowel but a internal plaster finishing trowel.
I always have different trowels for rendering works and internal plastering works.
