We’ve stopped at this pub a couple of times on the way back from Gatwick Airport. The food is top notch with a really good choice of food. Delicious! Added to that the staff are polite and friendly . There is also a well behaved dog.
Very friendly place and drinks are very reasonable priced plus a curry house 1 minute walk !
Perfect life.
Superb food, trying my way through the menu, so far steak tonight done to perfection , gutted the other night it was shut, salmon and liver meals before Xmas top quality, every time working up this way I make an effort to eat there.
My daughter my grandson and I popped into the garden and ordered lunch on a sunny day recently, it was also breezy and nothing was holding the parasols down so they were flying around the place!!! Apart from that it was very nice - the garden was lovely , gated so my grandson couldn't run into the car park area and there was a wooden structure fir the kids to play in and climb on with a swing attached .the food was really nice too - my grandson had pasta in a homemade tomato sauce and a garlic bread ,my daughter had a baguette with a side salad and I asked for goats cheese salad with pesto sauce but without the baguette - we were basically told if the ingredients were on the menu I could have it how I wanted it! I really enjoyed my meal and it was very reasonably priced too
My daughter and I went to this pub what a welcome we got as soon as we walked in the landlord customers skills are excellent at first we went to sit out in the garden after we order our food at the bar the garden was not at the back of the pub but the car park was down the side of the pub but at the back next to that was the garden all fenced in there is some wooden structures for the kids to play in We then decided because it was a little bit chilly to go and sit inside told the landlord we are now sitting inside he said no problem and your food will be very soon which it was my food and my daughter was excellent plenty of it on the plate when we was leaving said good bye and have a lovely day I and my daughter will certainly be going back there again the place is A1
Lovely traditional pub restaurant with a lo ely beer garden and parking. Varied menu to suit all tastes, reasonably priced and generous portions. The staff are welcoming, efficient and friendly. All in all a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.
Lovely place food ,drinks and staff
Lovely friendly pub really good food.Have never been disappointed.Hope to be going there more now the weather is a little warmer.
Lovely dog and child friendly pub with a lovely garden to please everyone and good food and drink. Thank you.
Loved it. Great food. Great ambience. Lovely village. Had to have my second choice but that just means I will have to come back
Love the grasshopper
Great food, cold beer and a proper pub atmosphere.
Friendly, accommodating staff; tasty grub in good-sized portions served promptly - despite the pub being packed out for Mother's Day; quirky ambiance (loved all the quotes and mottos on the walls) and, after a surprisingly cold and wet five-mile hike around the woods and fields of Westerham, the roaring log fire was sublime.
Always get a warm welcome here, lovely food great service.
Nice pub , nice food nice quiet garden perfect for a summer afternoon
Friendly staff and lovely home cooked meals. John couldn't speak highly enough about steak ale pie. Would certainly go here again.
Went for an early evening meal after visiting Chartwell. Good pub food. My sea bass was perfectly cooked and my friend had belly pork which was nice and not dry and good crackling.
Good solid pub grub. I had chicken, avocado, bacon and salad. Not very well presented. Whole avocado plonked on top of a pile of leaves. My hubby had the ploughmans basic. But embiance and staff made up for the food
Can't believe how Westerham has changed since I was last there. Had a drink in the Grasshopper on the green. It's great being served by a bar person who had a face that looked like she was chewing a wasp, not very inviting.
