Car parking accepts card -huge bonus!

User

Went today with 4 children aged 4-2 and had a great time loads of things to do. Some of the parts aimed at older children but our still enjoyed what they could do esp the water and tall slide!

User

We visited Great notley Country Park and although the weather was not great the kids had a lovely time, its so nice to go somewhere, were apart from the car park charges everything else is free. I would definately visit this place again and would recomment to anybody its worth a visit

User

We loved it! Only have to pay for the parking & maybe a cheeky ice cream! Suits all ages & even though we went in school holidays & seemingly busy, it didn't feel like that. An ideal place to go with kids of mixed age ranges.

User

This is a great place! I was driving from Kent to Caister on Sea with four children and needed somewhere to stop for lunch and to stretch our legs. It was so enjoyable we stayed for over three hours and it was well worth the car parking fee.

User

Such a lovely place . Plenty of equipment to play on - and grown ups can play too . It's free , just pay for parking . Great place to go , take a picnic, or eat in their cafe . Dogs are welcome too .

User

So much to do.

Hill and the paths for walking or cycling, fishing lakes and woods for exploring, long grass where you can play tigers stalking their pray, Clmbing frames for all ages ( even for us big kids) and abilities. Space for football or rounders or a simple picnc. Water games ( do that last as you will all be soaked) .

All spread out so you have your own space.

User

Really lovely outdoor country park with loads to Dow it's kids and you only pay to park! I can comment on the sky ropes or cafe as we took a picnic and only used the play areas but the play areas were very well looked after and was a great day out

User

Really good for a family day out

Good for all ages

User

My family love this park. You can enjoy the play trail and walks with only cost being for the carpark so can be a really cheap day out for the whole family. The different play areas are amazing and the whole park is very clean and well maintained

User

Just got home from Great Notley Country Park, wow wow wow we loved it, and will be returning. Loved it as the children were more than happy playing on the play trail, the dog was happy as he met other dogs and got a long walk ( be it stop /start). We arrived at 10.30 and didn't leave till 7pm. Daughter enjoyed doing the high ropes (£10 for a hour) . Car park was great value at £5 for the day. We honestly enjoyed the day, and can't believe we have never been here before, highly recommended and will return again

User

I took my three grandchildren ages 5, 8 and 10 and they loved it, there was so much to do and it suited all their ages. Each play area had been well though through and I liked the idea of walking through a different play area to reach the next one, i would highly recommend it and all for free

User

Huge park, great for families, dog walkers, horse riding, cycling and all sorts of adventures. Lots of play stuff for the kids to go on and its spread out along a trail. We have 3 kids 8, 6 & 4 who had so much open space to burn off the energy. Beautiful views, wildlife, fields, meadows and woodland. Cafe and sky rope adventures at an extra cost and don't forget money for the car park! Planning on taking our bikes and a picnic for our next visit!

User

Check it out, you will not be dissapointed...!! I go with a 2yr old & 12yr old... they are both very happy at the same time which is great 😊 They have sand, water, swings, climbing, slides, hills the list goes on...

User

We went on monday with four children and had a fantastic day!

The kids all thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as did we!

Only have two gripes though, the toilets were, for want of a better word, disgusting and there were no bins around the park,we came across only 1

,that was in fact a dog poo bin,but people had filled with rubbish and then piled it on the floor underneath it!

It wont stop us coming back though!

User

Travelled for an hour and we had a great day. Excellent play areas for young and older children alike. Some of the equipment was unavailable due to updating or repair and there was a lack of bins (so we ended up carrying the remains of our picnic around with us) hence the four stars. Will definitely come back later in the year. Their is a cafe with seating inside and out but I imagine it would get quite busy and crowded in the summer. Parking reasonable at £5 all day.

User

Really great place with so much to do with the kids. My only gripe is that the 'system' of booking your time slot on the aerial ropes is unclear. I stood at the wait here sign for at least 5 minutes and not 1 of the 4 members of staff stood there came to speak to me. It was only when I approached them to ask that I found out how to book. No signage anywhere and couldn't see it on the website

User

Lovely park with great facilities for children's play. Plenty of parking which is included in the Essex country parks season tickets.

Just avoid the cafe. Overpriced and rude staff. Ordered two panini which were advertised with chips and salad for £4.50 each. Asked if the did takeaway and yes they did. Had to wait half an hour for them to come then there was no explanation as to why there was no chips or salad for the same price as eat in just monosyllabic grunts from the teenager that thrust them at me.

User

Had a great day at this park never visited before, park was clean , equipment was in good working order, toilets clean at all time, prices in the cafe were very reasonable, need more bins around the park I would say , great plays would definitely recommend to friends and if I was that far away from home again I would definitely visit.
