Visited yesterday Friday 07/11/14, we ordered Garlic Prawns and enjoyed so much with a nice bottle of white wine, Even Portuguese soup was excellent, they do amazing grilled Fish as well, my regular Restaurant for the best food at very reasonable price

Very very good restaurant, good relation price and quality. Waitress are good the owners are even better. When there I feel so comfortable, like I'm at home but all clients are treated equality as they treat me. The food is good, rich menu with many choices, from meat, fish or pasta. Same applies to deserts, few different solutions a and recently they have sort of lovely ice cream made at home.

Staff was friendly, helpful and always smile.

Food was delicious.Definitely we would recommend it and certainly we will be back.

Staff was absolutely amazing. It was a big group and all orders were correct and delivered to the right person. Food was really great and good portions. My seabass fish was a bit salty but all other food was great

One of the best Portuguese restaurants in south London

The food was good not excellent, stake well prepared with a fried egg on top, however the fries was not hot as u would expect it and the rice also



Main downside is the service everything is everywhere. A place to go once but only once

Sadly I cannot confirm any reviews posted previously. If you are looking for the famous Portuguese hospitality and welcome.....walk on by. Came tonight after a disappointing meal elsewhere and wanted to have a nice dessert coffee and digestive spirit to feel happy. Sadly although the restaurant was nearly empty I was made to feel unwelcome and as though the staff was doing me a favour to let me sit st the table. Then waited an eternity when the two waiters had only 2 tables to wait. I decided to leave as my custom was obviously not welcome. I will N E VER have a meal here. Go to A Toca instead- very welcoming felt the Portuguese hospitality again there.

Disappointing! Many years ago my mother used to work in this restaurant and back then it was a good place but it's no longer the case. I went to grelha for lunch with 2 people, when we arrived the place was empty, one of the waiters took our order and when our food arrived there was a small hair in my plate. The restaurant started to pick up but there was only one waiter serving, the other guy was behind the bar. One couple left after 15 minutes waiting as they were not approached by any waiter, anther group of 4 people kept looking around to see if the waiter approached them but no one did and when our plates were collected the group of 4 people were complaining about the service and having to wait a long time to order their food. The other tall slim waiter wasn't very polite to customers when they arrived as he just pointed to the tables which was empty and rolled his eyes while the older man was running around. The food was good but the service was very poor, not enough waiters serving for 9 busy tables including the people who were waiting to be seated. We waited over 20 minutes to get our bill. I hope this improves because this restaurant once had a good reputation and the staff need to be more polite. I certainly will not be returning at least any time soon.
