The Bandra, inspired the classic Brooklyn in the ‘1908 Jack’s Manual’ cocktail book. In our version, American whisky is substituted for Indian single malt @amrutmalt, it’s tropical flavours accentuated with banana and citrusy American style vermouth. Finally we infuse with fresh pandan grass, adding a richness that is nutty, creamy and full of basmati aromas #GymkhanaLondon #ClubClassics

Allahabad Flying Club inspired by Captain Prem Mathur, the first Indian Woman to be awarded a pilot’s flying license from Allahabad Flying Club. Tea Break Fizz : Making her debut in Oct 1976, Shantha Rangaswamy became the first woman to lead and win a test series, whilst also scoring India’s first test century. Bombay Talkies: Hailed as the “first lady” of Indian cinema, Devika Rani setup the Bombay Talkies studio in 1934, helping to launch the careers of many Bollywood cinema icons. This is our twist on a ‘Champagne Cocktail’, raspberry eau de vie, hibiscus, topped with champagne and served with a gold sugar cube releasing the shimmer from a golden age of Bollywood. #GulabiRaniCollection #gymkhanalondon @ Gymkhana London

Himalayan Gimlet : Setting off on her first expedition aged 12 from her village in the Himalayas, Bachendri has won countless awards for her bravery and capability and in 1984 became the first Indian woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest. This adventurous ‘Gimlet’, replaces the traditional Roses for a ‘Himalayan cordial’, consisting of pine, angelica root, rose water, emulating the cool, crisp mountainous environment of Nepal. Timur, a native peppercorn to Nepal is added as the final touch executing its electric grapefruit aromas. #GulabiRaniCollection #gymkhanalondon @ Gymkhana London

The food and service was amazing! The 6 course meal was more food than I expected, and every dish exceeded my expectations. The A La Carte menu is great and has many options available if you want something other than the tasting menu. I recommend this place to anyone wanting great Indian food prepared by an amazing chef.

User

Outstanding food and great service! Had the duck dosa to start with was lovely, my husband had the venison and parents had the scallops which were superb. I shared the mushroom pilau for my main which was wonderful as well. Try the cocktails they are fab!

User

It was a special treat from my friend and I must say the most enjoyable too! Excellent meal, the best Indian food in London. Very tasty and delicious, will definitely return. Once again thank you so much for the most amazing evening with superb service too!

User

I loved everything about this restaurant. We had booked it for my birthday dinner with family. We were early but the hostess accommodated us. Delicious Indian food and I say it was delicious as I know how Indian cuisine should taste. The service was spectacular and on top of it all I loved the surprise towards the end of the meal by the restaurant - they got me a nice little dessert platter wih Happy Birthday written on it.

User

Had a Birthday here with some childhood friends. Booked a table weeks in advance. Had a call couple of weeks before to ask whether I would like a semi private dining room instead. Lovely gesture. Food here is excellent. Authentic taste of India. It is well deserving of the Michelin star. No frills presentation. Just delicious dishes using clearly the best cuts of meat and seafood. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Cocktails yummy. And the restaurant left us to chat away in our dining area long into the afternoon despite needing to get ready for their evening service. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

User

Great evening - excellent service, authentic flavours, delicately spiced and well presented. Unpretentious, yet with the cool ambience of an exclusive club...

Indian food at its best 4 thousand miles away from home... great vegetarian options too. Will defo visit again

User

Great - traditional flavours, well cooked, simply presented, excellent service, not overly expensive. Would highly recommend.

User

Fabulous food and a lovely venue. We had the tasting menu and the choice and menu were lovely. The staff were excellent, very knowledgeable about all the wines and food. I would only say the lavatory let them down. You had to grasp the metal chain to flush the toilet as it had no pull handle and the tap was wobbly, simple things that could easily be remedied.

User

Absolutely loved the food - some of the tastiest Indian cuisine we've ever indulged in! However, despite ringing and booking ahead, upon arrival we were advised we might not be able to get a table as the kitchen was closing! Not sure why we were able to book if this was the case? We did manage to get a seated and had a great evening despite the initial annoyance.

User

Absolutely amazing, for some one that hasn't had Indian food before they treated me fantastically. Recommend what food to try and even gave me a yoghurt drink and pot of fresh yoghurt. The staff where amazing there customer service was above and beyond..For true Indian food lovers this is most definitely for you.

User

The food was amazing my only request that they should hv some choice with gravy for veggies as all dishes were dry , something the chef 👨‍🍳 needs to look at , by the way the cocktails were amazing

User

Tasty enough, but we had the tasting menu which was too much food and overpriced. Service was good, but I doubt I will ever return.

User

Innovative Indian food. Excellent service especially from Rebecca whose knowledge of the cuisine was very informative. Great location and an interesting history .

User

Great food and deserves the kudos. Excellent service.

User

Good food. Everything tasted good. However, won't say Michelin star level good, so if you have high expectation you may be disappointed.

User

The taste of food was okay but nothing special. Waiters was all over the place.

User

Nothing to rave about their signature dish as claimed. Michelin Star is questionable when you get served chat and samosa as appetizers. Tried kid goat keema with roti (roti had threads so definitely not of Michelin star quality check) Presentation was good but the taste was lacking the oomph factor. Kulfi for a dessert will take my 4 stars for taste and presentation.

User

I am a foodie and am not easily pleased 😁 I would therefore, give you guys 3 stars. I would always compare food with food in restaurants of the similar standings in India. Based on this I guess food was very basic........ if you were serving this food in India don't expect customers to return.

User

This place doesn’t deserve a Michelin star tbh. Service was ok at best, waiters standing around chatting, not particularly on it. Given a sip of wine for a main course as part of pairing , asked for more and charged £25 despite the bill being near £400 for 2 people. Pudding wise would have got more enjoyment out a tin of microwaved ambrosia. This place will struggle to maintain its Michelin star in my opinion. Didn’t pay the discretionary service charge - rightly so. First course was a snack a jack.
