Haggerston Orchard And Community Garden

A community orchard and garden in Haggerston Park based on the principles of a food forest. Open to the public and produce for all to enjoy.

Haggerston Orchard and Community Garden is based in a quiet corner of Haggerston Park. We grow a variety of fruit trees and soft fruits along with edible and medicinal herbs. We also have a protected space with raised beds for members of the local community to grow annual vegetables.

It is run entirely by volunteers. We build with recycled and waste materials and harvest rainwater. In addition to growing food, we also work to create habitat and wild spaces for wildlife in the middle of Hackney.
