I am an accredited counsellor and qualified hypnotherapist, registered with The National Counselling Society and The National Hypnotherapy Society. My qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, L3 Award in Child Counselling and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills.

To complement my existing skills for working with children and young people, in May 2017 I completed an introductory CPD course with Play-therapy UK.

2000-2014 I worked in education supporting a variety of students including those with additional learning difficulties - 2006 achieving a FdA in Learning Support, 2005 I trained as a Behaviour Mentor and 2007-2014 leader of a Special Needs Department in a secondary school

I enjoy running my own independent counselling and hypnotherapy practise (est. Jan 2015) working with adults, children (min 8 years) and young people. I offer a friendly, affordable and confidential service.

I work with a variety of issues including: anxiety, stress, confidence & self-esteem, depression, weight management, relationship, abuse, stop-smoking, illness & pain relief, fear of driving /flying, fear of public speaking, sleep deprivation. I do not offer counselling for alcohol or drug addiction.

I welcome clients with a learning difficulty.
