Were ON!. Despite all the rain the ground is still ok but a bit wet and it will stop raining by 7am. Apparently 😁. So saturday 28th is a Go!

What a fantastic first boot fair today. Thanks to all that came. I'm sorry we could not accomodate everyone and had to turn some people away. A good start to the season.😀

Today would have been a lovely day for 'Booting' but unfortunately the ground is still very wet and soft in a lot of places. I think the warm (less wet) weather is finally here, so next week.......

With the amount of rain we have had over the last week, the ground has not had a chance to recover and will still be waterlogged the weekend. Sorry folks but AGAIN we need to cancel this Saturday 14th. If you have been looking at the forecast, next week (16th - 20th) will be a scorcher. So the following Saturday is looking good. Finally.....

This car boot sale is fairly small but this has the benefit of discouraging the professional sellers - you know, the people 'having a clear out' who just happened to have ten paste tables lying around. Friendly and well organised with good parking. It's rare for me to leave not having bought anything. Remember to keep your entrance fee separate as you pay on exit, not entry (to prevent queueing on the A22).

Really great spot and friendly atmosphere! Not a bad place to spend a Saturday morning �

Halland Car boot restores your faith in what is the nightmare of conventional car boots! Gone are the horrors and feeling completely under attack when you turn up at others and are subjected to the 'natives' climbing inside your boot and rummaging through your possessions, before you've even got to the pitch, no doubt 'loosing' some of your stuff in the process.....then once stationary, other members of 'the pack' descend on you to go in for the 'rabid kill'!

Instead Halland holds back the 'customers' (who also seemed a nice bunch), until all the sellers are let onto the field at 8.30am, parked and are fairly established in the very spacious pitches.

Wow, so civilised, time for a cup of tea then!

There are clean portable toilets and a snack wagon on site. Run by a very friendly husband and wife team with others, they seem to really care about both the seller and buyers experience, always checking all is okay. They even took the time to come and show my children a baby bird they had found.

If you are previously scarred by other car boots like me, then the tranquility of Halland is your therapy!

Had a great time and will be going again, I like the easiness and relaxation of it all. Would certainly recommend..

Great little boot sale. My first time. Had a pitch and made some money😊. A friend recommended it to me....I too will recommend it to anybody. Well organised by friendly helpful organisers. Well worth seeking this one out. I will definitely have another pitch sometime in the future. Of course the sunshine always helps🌞😉. Have a happy successful season HCBS 😊
