Our vets are good, so good, and this Friday night, 6th September, they kick off what will be a storming season against Thamesians, the 18/19 league winners and who they lost to narrowly. Where is this battle of the titans being played? At Hazelwood, the London Irish Training Ground, with a kick off at 8pm and a 7pm meet.
See here for directions - https://www.london-irish.com/the-club/con tact-us/67/
The boys want to ensure they kick the league off with a win and are looking t...o put out a strong side, so get involved. It should be a good contest, but if you don't fancy a run, come along a join some old faces on the touchline for pre match port and plenty of beers.
Plenty of beers!
In terms of the rest of the season, above is the fixtures card, so get those "work dinners" in now and tell your missus she'll have to visit her sister that night on her own that night. And she better take the kids - cause you'll be home late.
If you have any queries on the above or want to play, please drop Hugo an email - hugo.lowry@gmail.com
Get keen!

Hammers Rugby doesn't get much bigger than this! Hog Roast Day is simply huge and what a way to start the season - 3 teams playing this Saturday, with beer and Hog Roast served all day!
The curtain raiser? Our mighty ladies team taking the field at 12pm against local rivals Ironsides. Who's next? The 2s squad taking on Actionians at 2pm, followed by the 1s hooking into Finsbury Park at 3pm. With Stash, beer and Hog roast on sale, where else would you want to be?
It's the Intraclub Trial Game!
Tonight, some big questions on the table are going to get answered - like:
- Who throws straighter darts - Seb Money, or Phil Lord?
... - Who will be voted the club's best ranga - Ben Hatton, or Jack Hooper?
- Who is the better Buchner - *Slade, or Chad
- Who can count to 5 the quickest - Cillian Waldron, or his brother Derry?
- Which prop will have a heart attack first - Ferdi, or Tim Williams?
Why not come down and see first-game-of-Rugby-back at its finest tonight under lights at Chiswick RFC - the bar's open, and a few post-game drinks are on offer.
Warm up will start at 7:15, with the first game played at 7:45. With over 60 players looking to get involved in the action, it'll be a big club night. So get involved, and enjoy those summer nights

An epic match saw the South reclaim the trophy for the 12th consecutive year! How did they do it? Big scores by Taylor and Fraser, accurate bowling by Tim Murray and Jack Goldberg, not to mention a cracking wicket by lilly saw it away! What a great day. There's always next year North!

Last night the mens and ladies sections of Hammersmith & Fulham RFC came together to remember our friend and fellow Hammer Stuart Mangan, who passed way 10 years ago this month, as a result of complications from injuries sustained while playing for the club the year before.
Here, Ed Clark - who was captaining the game when Stu suffered his injury - tells a new generation of Hammers a little bit about what happened that day, how the club came together, and also what an amazing... man Stu was.
Always remembered.
