Congratulations to Owen who competed in the 2018 British Pre-Cadets Championships in Sheffield. A technicality cost Owen a place in the final, but you held your nerve to win every fight thereafter and after 7 rounds in total, took a Bronze medal. Couldn't fault your judo today - well done.

Well done to Millie, Eli and Sorin who all won Gold medals in their respective weight categories at the High Wycombe Mini Mon today. Great result.

Harlow Judo club were well represented in last nights Harlow Sports awards with nominations in the Community club of the Year, Young Sports Personality of the Year and Coach of the Year categories. We are proud to announce that Owen Lambert was awarded joint runner up in the Young Sports Personality group, Harlow Judo club were voted Community Club of the Year. And finally from a list of quality coaches our senior coach Mick Ellis was voted as Coach of the Year. Fantastic result.

Thanks to everyone at the club who munched there way through various cakes to enable us to make a donation to the Macmillan cancer appeal of £145. An extra hard training session will now be required to get rid of excess calories.

Fantastic performances from the whole team today at the London Area Grade Banded event, UEL. Gold - Millie, Owen, Sam Silver - George Bronze - Sorin Eli was unplaced.... Well done to you all.

Well done Owen.

Yesterday, Owen competed at his first international Pre-Cadets event with the REDS squad where he travelled to Nijmegen, Netherlands. He was in a very tough group competing against the Dutch and Swiss but managed to claim a well earned Bronze medal. Huge congratulations to you Owen. Before you return home today, there's the training camp.
