What a delightful course and Lovely staff made our society do special

Tough challenging course. Need to be straight. Greens very tricky! Good food, good Pro and staff very friendly. Harrogate great place for a trip play Pannel and Oakdale both also excellent golf courses.

Played the course for the 1st time in the open day today . What a fantastic club , course brilliant really good test and in fantastic condition , club house and pro shop friendly and really welcoming ,starter on the first ( called David) an absolute gent .cant wait for the next open day

Lovely afternoon with my fiancé for her mums 70th birthday, the food was really good and the service as always was fantastic-thanks Colin and Sue for looking after us.

I found it a friendly place and in particular, enjoyed my experience at the pro shop where the staff were especially helpful. Will definitely be returning!

Had a fantastic afternoon. Course in excellent condition especially the greens. Facilities and staff great. Will be visiting again soon.

Great course greens very tricky. Course is short but very tight that proves you don't need a long course for it to play difficult will definitely return

Fantastic golf course. One of the classier courses in the area. Greens were superb today and a lot of credit to the green staff for keeping them so good in the middle of October. A lot of other courses are in bad shape now but not here.

Great value as well. £30 a round with free bacon sandwich before teeing off. Lovely day and highly recommend playing it now before Winter bites!

Beautiful parkland course one mile from centre of Harrogate. Never get bored with this course it is a challenge. Really friendly staff with good clubhouse and changing facilities.

As the winner of Harrogate GC 's recent Facebook competition, I played on Monday with 3 other lads from Hartlepool GC. I can't thank the staff, from the Pro shop to the bar staff, highly enough. Sam(Pro) kept our tee off slot free, while we had a wonderful bacon sarnie and cuppa. Although the tee was busy with members wanting to tee off, Sam ensured that we were free to tee off.

The weather was fairly kind to us, no rain but quite a strong wind. But that didn't defer from our opinions of how well the course was set up. I'm sure that they've had the same terrible weather as rest of the North, but the greens were still very true, fast and smooth.

The course has some wonderful holes and very long par 4's, the 13th is 461yds off the Yellows. With the wind it proved a tough course for the other lads but I managed to shoot a 77, so very happy with that. We followed our round by having a lovely meal in the traditional clubhouse.

Overall a great day and well worth a visit by any golfer who requires a good test of golf.

25 years since I last played here. Forgot what a great testing course it was. Some tough finishing holes. In great condition and the greens rolled well. Worth a visit if you're ever in the area.

Very friendly staff. Had a lovely lunch on the fabulous terrace whilst my son enjoyed the golf course. He said it wasin tip top condition yesterday for the Yorkshire boys competition! I enjoy the walk

A great golf course in fantastic surroundings.

A tough test of golf but a very enjoyable one.

The Greens were a little slow for my liking and that's the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

The club house staff were very friendly efficient and the food was fantastic.

I recommend that all golfers pay this course a visit, i certainly will go back.
