About Harrogate Hockey Club
Harrogate Hockey Club is one of the oldest hockey clubs in the country and boasts a long and distinguished history, going back over 100 years.
Harrogate Hockey Club Description
The Club has seven Mens and five Ladies teams. The Ladies first team and Mens first team are in the North Division 1 league with the remaining teams in the Yorkshire Hockey leagues. The Club also has a very successful and thriving Junior section which runs under 10, 12, 14, 16 and U18 teams for both boys and girls.
All players are supported by excellent coaching club atmosphere and facilities at all levels.

We welcome new playing members at any level. We pride ourselves on the 'work hard, play hard' ethic at Harrogate and after a 100% effort on the pitch ensure that we are one of the most sociable clubs in the North.

We wish the u12 boys all the best this weekend as they attend the national finals on Saturday 18th May at Nottingham, Beeston Hockey Club.
The squad of 10 players have had a fantastic season and top it off with representing Harrogate Hockey Club as the ‘best team in the North of England’ in the national finals as one of the ‘top 10 teams in the country!’

CRAWFURD PORTER VETS HOCKEY YOURNAMENT
10th, 11th and 12th May 2019
Each year, for the past 48 years Harrogate Hockey Club has welcomed visiting teams to our Crawfurd Porter Veterans Hockey Tournament, this year we have 14 teams (mens and ladies) joining us.
... We kick off the weekend on Friday 10th May with a curry and live music provided by The Crazy Knights (https://crazyknights.info), the hockey starts on Saturday with games at HHC and the Grammar School throughout the day. We have our gala dinner on Saturday evening, kicking off at the Club before heading over to the school for a 3 course meal. The entertainment continues in to the evening with Millennium Sounds providing music and, obviously, the bar providing drink. We go again on Sunday with the hockey and round the weekend off with an awards ceremony before wishing our guests a safe journey home.
This year we have received generous sponsorship from Enterprise Rent a Car who are providing 4 mini buses that we will use to transport teams to and from the Grammar School. We also provide food, teas and coffees throughout the weekend which helps to boost income from the event. All of this requires the help and support from you, our members. So if you can spare a couple of hours over the weekend to help us that would be massive. Please contact David Redman (reddersgk@gmail.com) if you can help with driving and you are 25 or older.
