As we approach the end of the summer holidays our new pool program takes over from the current one on Monday.
There are some subtle changes to the program which aims to make the pool more accessible to all so it's worth taking a look.

Important information! Due to our inflatable still being away for repair our fun session on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th of August will be a general swim session instead of the fun session.
Sorry for any inconveniance caused.

Unfortunately due to unseen circumstances our inflatable has had to be sent off for repair, meaning there will be no fun session Wednesday 15th Thursday 16th and Friday 17th August. Sorry for any inconveniance caused.

Due to essential maintenance the teaching pool is closed today Monday 13th August and tomorrow Tuesday 14th August.
Swimming lessons will be running as normal

We are running some National Pool Lifeguard Qualification courses at the Hydro this summer...

Main Pool Temperature. 14/06/2018 - 9.30am
We are having a few technical issues with the valve that controls the heat to the pool, actually the issue isn't that technical, 'it's stuck'. We have a new one on order; however this means that we are currently experience temperatures that Starbeck Swimming Baths would be proud of.
... We have made a radical manual adjustment 'RMA' for short, (We turned the heating off this morning) so should lose the excess heat over the next few hours.
For those that enjoy a warm swim; enjoy it while it lasts 😀
For those who prefer a cold swim; we'll be back to normal soon 😐
