• To inculcate understanding of the culture and tradition in the younger generation by giving opportunities to perform and encourage fine arts.
• To help the community to fully participate and integrate with the society
•To organise events to support the cause and generate surplus which will be spent on aiding hospices and charities
•To inform, educate, advise, connect and help maintain the unique culture and values of the Indian community in the United Kingdom
•To work in partnership with other organisations to seek solutions to the problems faced by the community

The nation lost its Chandini on 24th February. We paid a special tribute to the late legendary actress Sridevi at our Diwali event held on 27th October.RIP Sridevi!

The big day is here.The Secretary of Indian High Commission&former mayors of Harrow will be chief guests for the evening.The show begins sharp at 6.30 pm.There are plenty of parking spaces available inside the school premises.Though there is an event in Wembley,this shouldn't affect as the venue is near Preston Road tube station. Please plan your travel &reach on time.See you all tomorrow!

WE ARE 10 IN 2018!!! Over the years Harrow Desis have garnered reputation for quality entertainment with a professional approach. We would like to share our happiness of reaching this milestone by presenting a mega musical night with renowned playback singer and multi-talented artist Palakkad Sreeram on 10th February 2018 at Preston Manor Upper form School, Wembley from 6.30 pm to 10 pm. Sreeram will be joined by our own singers and will be ably supported on band by Gajan's freebirds. You are invited to join us to reminisce over the golden melodies of Tamil &Hindi cinema. We thank you all for your congratulatory messages.We wanted to host it at a small scale but you all made it a humongous success.
We celebrated our 9th anniversary on 7th October at Patidar Centre, Wembley. Aditya Narayan and Rahul Renganath were the emcees for the evening.The evening began with invocation by Varun Nathan followed by Swathi's Bharatanatyam. Desi girls and boys took the audience by storm with their party beats Bollywood dance medley. Singers of Harrow Desis' band rendered various melodious songs. Harrow Desis' got talent showcased the talent of younger generation. Lovely ladies of Eastco...te Banjarans left the audience in awe with a foot tapping Bollywood dance. Talented actors of Harrow Desis' presented a thought provoking play "Maanvatha" in a light hearted manner and captivated the audience with their acting skills. Dipa Iyer and Sujatha Renganathan demonstrated the beauty of common ragas present in both Carnatic and Hindustani under the title Raaga Sudha and gave examples of how these have been used in cinema.The show came to an end with a fantastic medley by the singers of Harrow Desis' band followed by dinner.It was a memorable evening with various programmes catering to different age groups
