This is Spencer, he has lost his 3rd tooth whilst enjoying our fish and chips in Eastbourne! We gave him a Super Sundae to celebrate this achievement. Spencer was really excited to wait for the tooth fairy in the evening to take his tooth away.

Just had an amazing first experience at Harry Ramsdens in Bournemouth. Wonderful service, very friendly and quick. Delighted by the quality for the price too! P.s. £4.99 for a mojito... will definately be returning. �

Treated my grandson to take out chips on the front at Bournemouth after an adventure at the beach and very impressed. Loved the packaging but please Harry Ramsden stop including plastic knives and forks. As a regular walker at Bournemouth beach I can tell you there are far too many discarded in the sand. I pick up and bin any I see but it would be so much better if you didn't give them out in the first place. Thankyou

Food was nice...service hideous!

Cheshire Oaks branch, ok so we've been fed but no drinks arrived.

Had to get up & ask twice for them.

Table's next to us....no cold wine as it's not been put in the fridge.

Sorry not got hot drinks as the water isn't hot.

Guy sat waiting whilst his food was on the counter top for 5 mins looking at him.



Very poor service & looks like everyone's expecting someone else to do things.

We had a meal last Friday evening I had place and chips my partner Margaret had sausage & mash the food was very good but Margaret asked if she could have a bit more gravy and got it a few minutes later,we paid the bill and never noticed till some time later when we looked at the bill we had been charged £1.49. Extra for the gravy . We think that was totally wrong and will think twice before going there again.

Was at Harry Ramsdens at Abington services M74, I had a full English breakfast and did not enjoy it whatsoever. The bacon was burnt, fried egg was over cooked and the black pudding was so hard I couldn't cut it with a knife and I'm not exaggerating. Also the staff are like snails in a hurry and tables n floor could do with a good scrub! Won't be going there for breakfast ever again! �

The Great Yarmouth branch is terrible!! The reason I did not rate it 1 star is that the chips were not too bad!



The service is very, very poor. We waited five minutes to be served by someone and then we were told that the chips would be seven minutes. After waiting nearly 15minutes with three other customers the chips arrived in not cold but not hot and freshly cooked. Also the staff did not know which order was which! Terrible staff with no senior member to tell them what to do.

Just paid £9 for sausage in batter and chips from south mimms services. Chips are bland and overcooked. Looks like they are about 3 hours old.

Not impressed. Won't be comming back.

Hi we’re in your restaurant in Swanage and I’ve just asked if I could have an extra sausage on my step sons Kids meal only to be met by utter confusion by your staff and then the manager coming and telling me that he doesn’t ‘have a button’ for this!!! Really!!! In this day and age is it so hard for us to purchase an extra sausage ???????????? Not Impressed by your customer service at all!!

Went to Harry’s this morning for breakfast. M5 Gordano services. I wish I could put up pictures of the awful breakfast we were served. There was so much fat on the bacon I only ate 3 tiny bits. Told member of staff she needed to change supplier her response “tell Harry, he makes all the decisions” so here I am telling Harry CHANGE YOUR MEAT SUPPLIER AT GORDANO. Otherwise the beans were cold, the sausage tiny, the tomato raw (says grilled on menu) and hash brown so brown it was virtually black! Until they sort out suppliers (and how to cook it) I’d say go sub way.

We just visited the gordino services branch on m5 we are appalled by the manna in which the staff approached us also the food was degrading I asked for fresh chips as they were over cooked and you could tell they had been there all day and I was still given the same chips to then I refused to have them on my plate and the had attitude from the staff I took a photograph as I will be making a formal complaint I was appalled I always used the branch at Cardiff bay and never had a problem food was amazing but the prices they charge for food not fit for my dog let alone the general public was horrific. Also no hair nets

Visited the Trafford centre Harry Ramsden and took away 3 large cod and chips with a side order. At £23.97 it wasn't a cheap takeaway. The most disgusting fish and chips I have ever had. Chips were rock hard and looked like they had been re fried multiple times and the fish batter looked burnt too !! Had to go to the local chip shop and buy 3 portions of chips. Sent a complaint online and I'm still waiting for a response what a joke!!!I

Visited the Blackpool shop. Me and my husband had the Plaice and were both ill vomiting afterwards. The manager said that the worker didn’t do something with the batter, that they are supposed to. Fair enough he offered us a full refund.

Came back to Blackpool shop today and my husband bought a portion of chips. Yet again poor quality food. I wish I could upload a photo of what they served him., but because he walked out of the shop along to the seafront, he just chucked them in the bin. Never again!!

The Harry Ramsden in Blackpool is a disgrace . People waited for a long time and ignored by disinterested staff . When I approached the Manager I was told we just had to wait . Sorry we didn`t have to wait we left ! Not enough staff to deal with such a busy place . I would have dreaded to think, when we would have received our meal , had we placed an order .

Sat down after 10 minutes only to be then ignored for 50 after receiving our drinks, server came without a pen (who does that?) after the 50 minutes wait a server walked past asking if were still waiting for food? was hoping the empty drinks and clean table would've made that glaringly obvious,

Overall rubbish service, but nice food....

Place is run by mokeys with poor higine no actal chefs head chef in hr in south queensferry edinburgh was the kitchen porter 6 months ago managers always givin own daughter more hours than anyone else managers are all a joke burns night just past they had to cancel as only 2 ppl showed up get better food at a cheaper price at ur local chip shop

I had a visit today to the restaurant at Intu Trafford Centre. My son is a fussy eater, I was delighted when there was a Harry Ramsdens, for the sausage and beans he wanted.



Unfortunately, my delight was short lived. I was told I couldn’t get just Sausage and beans. I would have to get a Children’s meal at £3.99. Okay great! Chips separate please and everyone is happy.



When I came to pay she said £5:18...sorry? I was then told I have to pay for the beans as an extra. The image advertising the children’s meal at £3:99 has a picture of fish, chips and beans on it. When I pointed this out, suggesting this was misleading, the member of staff apologised. It wasn’t her fault.



I then asked could she not have swapped the beans in for the chips? Her reply was she wasn’t allowed to do that. Again, not her fault but I did tell her that I am not impressed with the customer service. At which point the chap who looked like the manager on shift, in a shirt, whispered something to the member of staff, clearly about me, which resulted in a smirk.



Needless to say, I will not be heading back anytime soon! Inflexible, false advertising and an unhappy customer!

Hubby and I had breakfast at Harry Ramsden Charnock Richard today, disappointing!! Over cooked bacon, broken fried egg, flat and overdone, luke warm beans and mushrooms, griddled tomato that hadn't seen more than 20 seconds on the griddle. Sausage was hot, but not the best quality, ordered white toast, got very overdone brown!! I know I should have complained at the time but to be honest the staff looked like they couldn't be bothered, so I saw no point, next time I will get my usual from Subway, a third of the price and edible

Disgusted with Blackpool branch service. Just arrived in Blackpool, went in the the restaurant and sat down. Waited a few minutes then attracted a waitress attention, she said you can’t sit there, you need to go to another entrance and wait in a queue for 30 minutes. I explained we have been sitting there and she’s said you shouldn’t have come in that door. Long story short, asked to speak with manager who said I’m not serving you, you shouldn’t have come in that door, I explained that there was nothing to say that, until the waitress hurriedly put up signs. Informed him will be contacting head office and left. If you don’t want our custom Harry Ramsden just lock your door and don’t expect customers to know which is the correct door to use for service.

Disappointed is an understatement.

Went to the Swanage restaurant today and waited ages to be seated yet they were not busy. After finally being shown to a table at the restaurant we asked to be seated at the window. The waiter seemed vauge as to what drinks were available and then his own would not work and retreated to find another but then started taking payments from other customers.

When he returned to try and take the order again he couldn't understand that we wanted 2 starters to come out with the 2 mains at the same time. Then to top it off a staff member was outside smoking and came back in and when straight to the kitchen to start work without washing hands.��

Never again will I enter a Harry Ramsdens
