User

Well we had a double Mother’s Day meal and we all had a great time with fantastic service thank you harvester from the king family and krzywinski family we will defiantly visit again

User

Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They had an incident in the bar area with a couple who had drunk too much and were very rude and loud ... the manager and staff diffused the situation and they left and the manager and waitress came over separately and apologised. Great service!!

User

Awesome food glad the menu is like it used to be

User

It took over two hours from start to finish two course meal! A bit long but All our food was great! they looked understaffed and the young guy running food though the pork belly was salmon üòÇ.. but all in all it's a very busy place and if people want fast food they should pop over to the McDonald's instead.. hospitality staff are never given enough credit, but thanks guys!

User

I actually don't like harvesters but the honeypot seemed quite clean as opposed to Five bells and what was the Crown in langdon hills. Stafc werent overly efficient tgey didnt ask if everything was ok but at least they looked clean and well groomed with hair short or tues back. I really enjoyed the original combo that I had and my friends said they enjoyed the salmon that they had.

User

As a regular customer of the honey pot I cannot fault it, however we were a little surprised that ALL drinks are now sugar free ... I could not order an ordinary Pepsi or squash for the kids - I am aware of the sugar tax but believe this should be at the customers discretion, I would rather pay the extra for a normal drink than not have the option of it at all - my children are more sensitive to sweetners than sugar so was a little dumbfounded when they had no choice but to have sugar free drinks ÔøΩ

User

Very poor service, salad bar bowls were red hot who wants a cold salad In hot dishes, I had chicken trio the Cajun chicken was dry and burnt, the quarter chicken was dry too, I had 6 chips which were crunchy and over cooked and not very nice. My husband had skins for starters they were crushed up in a bowl presentation needs sorting out. I have had some lovely meals at harvester, but I don’t think I will be going again apart from for breakfast.

User

The restaurant was very busy, but we were seated really quickly and served by a server who was very pleasant.the food was great.no complaints at all.thank you.

User

Never been there before it was OK but another customer was complaining to staff as we were eating our meal. Children climbing on furniture and disturbing other diners. Meal average.

User

Large party (11) - we'd booked for 10 and they accomodated the extra 1 without fuss despite being VERY busy...2 of uz were seated on a small low table at the end.

Table was booked for 8pm - we all decided no starters, just as well as w eventually got our food at half 9 and then ended up roaming the restaurant to find cutlery at it wasnt brought up with meal - 1 meal was cold - but manager was very apologetic and changed in 5 mins e

Food was ok - but in their attempt to be 'price friendly' the main meal portions are much smaller

We had a discount voucher and with this, meal came to £15 a head - which was fair for quality of the meal and dining experience..and whilst staff were good there needed to be more of them to deal with 'full capacity' customer numbers -particularily in the kitchen.

I would eat here again - but not on a Saturday night

User

Just been for Christmas lunch and my party is still there after 2 hours, but I had to leave because I had a school run. I asked for my dessert early but it wasn't served after 15 minutes even though I was assured it would take a couple of minutes, but then others on my table arrived. Poor service, cold food. We won't be back!

User

Great location as lots of things to do around, very clean and updated place, food was a bit of a let down for the price we paid..very small portion with both chips and the butter chicken wrap, more salad than chicken, slightly different menu as they don't do the early bird menu,at least I had the salad cart and the roll which help.overall great staff and clean.

User

Although we were a table of 10 adults & 2 kids, took ages to get served, and for meals to arrive.

Nice friendly staff though.

I had the 10oz sirloin steak, tough as old boots, not recommended.

And 2 mushrooms and 2 onion rings, seem a bit stingey

User

3 of us in the party. Booked online, easy, turned up and straight to a table great.

Ordered 2 8oz steaks in our party, and a mixed grill.

One 8oz steak was much bigger than the other for 1 thing. Number 2, we ordered a well done and a medium, aswell as a medium on the mixed grill. The medium on the steak meal was more like a medium rare, blood covering the plate, to which was physically making me feel sick to eat so that was wasted. I assume that the chef didnt think and realise that it would need cooking longer because it was the thicker bit.

Number 3, the chicken on the mixed grill had SO many little bones in it that it was a struggle to eat.

Number 4, ordered a refillable drink. I dont drink pepsi as I cant stand the taste, so I poured a tango from the machine, what came out, pepsi. Had to then ask for a fresh glass, even the waitress grimaced at the look of it.

Other than the easy booking and quick service, it wasnt the best visit I have had.

User

Really sorry to say but myself and family didn’t enjoy our starters (potato skins) they were really hard to eat, wasn’t much cheese and lots of strips of bacon, more than the size of the skins, my and my husband had the original meal (ribs&chicken) that was nice and the deserts we had were nice, a little overpriced than it used to be I think as it cost £64.00 for the four of us, the service from the waitress wasn’t very good, quite abrupt and short with service but can’t fault the other lady who sat us, she was lovely, bubbly and chatty, we didn’t get the early bird menu, which we didn’t realise until it was too late, we didn’t get asked if everything was ok with our meals which when I’ve been for breakfast we have, we didn’t get informed about the salad cart, it wasn’t our first time visiting the harvester so I knew anyway but it should of been told to us in customer service,

User

Food wasn't very nice especially the chicken which both my friends had (pulled Peri Peri chicken wrap and simply grilled chicken ) it seemed very processed and as if it had been sitting in water for a long time as it was very watery?!?! It was so bad the chicken meals were sent back and one meal replaced with a burger instead. The burger took ages to come and my friend ate on her own. I had the fish fingers brioche roll and it was very very greasy. The children's meals were OK but the steamed veg was just like mixed frozen veg from Tesco's. The meals just didn't seem up to the normal healthy and delicious standard and quite pricey really for what you got. We all felt it was a shame the menu had changed and it wasn't any better, in fact it was worse. The desserts were probably the best part of the meal.

User

Poor poor attention to tables, not even any clearing between courses, had to go on the hunt for cutlery, staff for drinks. Poorly run

User

My eldest daughter had been here before and said it was good so thought we’d try it.

Wished I hadn’t bothered.

Service was vv poor as staff were too busy laughing and joking with each other. I’m all for getting on well with your co workers but do your job properly. Some guy emptied a bin bag from somewhere and walked it through the restaurant past the salad bar which I thought was gross.

It wasn’t even busy but we had to ask for cutlery (which smelt of dirty dish water) as they hadn’t bought it with our meals. Then walked away without taking our starter/salad bowls that were stacked up ready for them to take so we had to eat our meal with the table full of crap. We had been finished for about 20 mins and still no one had asked if we wanted deserts or came and took our plates, so I had enough and asked a lady passing for our bill but she carried on walking. When we called someone else I paid the bill and left and thought no more. That is until 2.45 this morning when my youngest daughter started vomiting all over the floor. Will never go to this harvester again.

User

I am a very strict vegetarian and my food was served with a big dollop of rib sauce where the waitress had carried my friends plate. It had gone in the t-towel and been transferred to my plate when she returned with mine. The waitress wanted to put my food in a clean plate but I said I wanted fresh food as it had been near meet. There were 5 of us and I had to eat alone because of their error. The menu has changed and seemed more expensive with jess choice. Shame as we used this restaurant a lot
