They do lovely fish and chips with mushy peas and their wine is nice I would recommend them . Quite cheap to.

Went there yesterday for my birthday, lovely food, great service

User

Prompt service, clean surroundings & friendly waitress. It was nt busy so cant really judge them under pressure. Our food order was correct & very tasty. Would definitely go again

User

Food was spot on and service was amazing

We went yesterday (Sunday) didn’t realise you had to book, the chap on the reception said it was a hour n half wait, so we said ok, we only waited 10 mins & he buzzed us, they had a cancellation, (there was a lot of empty tables). The waitres was really nice & attentive, we did wait a while for food, she came up & apologise, my & hubbys corn on the cob was freezing cold so when ask if everything was ok I told her she went & got us piping hot ones! Why we couldn’t have these in the first place?! My daughter said her chips were on the cold side. Over all it was a fine experience.

User

The place was dirty, food all on the seats, cutlery was dirty, toilets were grubby, think the place needs a revamp, food was lovely though

I ordered the Cornish Ribs thinking they would be very nice , however they were very very fatty, no taste and I left most of them, the server did say to me oh you should have said , but we were a party of 8 and it was only the Cornish ribs that were awful, the regular ribs were enjoyed by 4 others in the party , mixed grill was very nice too . Very disappointed especially as the ribs I had were 15 pounds or so .

Gone downhill on this visit. Poor service & the food wasn't up to it's usual high standard.

Firstly the drinks order was wrong. Then during my visit to the salad bar, no side plates were available. As I really enjoy the fresh bread rolls, I grabbed two along with my salad, & on the way back to my table, I asked our waitress if she could bring me a side plate as none were available at the salad bar. After 10 minutes of looking around and eating my salad, I managed to catch the eye of another member of staff, who then brought me a plate so my rolls didn't have to sit in my napkin any longer.

The food. It arrived. Then had to call the waitress back as Mum's onion rings were obviously forgotten about. Mums Cheese Jacket was fine, my Southern Fried Chicken Bun was disappointing. The chips were clearly undergone, no crispness to the outer skin at all. Then finally the onion rings turned up. The chef had obviously forgotten them with the order as it was a few minutes before they arrived, and again dissapointment, they were limp and undergone (obviously rushed out as they had been forgotten).

I was going to mention the underdone chips & onion rings, but at the time several waitresses were admiring (what I would guess) a baby brought in by a member of staff, & I couldn't get anyone's attention. Luckily the SF chicken & bun were as should be.

Oh & to top it off, the waitress drinks order error was still on our Bill, & could easily have been paid if I hadn't noticed it.

Overall....

We lived in Petts Wood for 3 years and often visited and never had a bad meal or service. Went there yesterday (Saturday) after leaving Petts Wood for 2 years and my god has this place gone down hill!

We were met by an older lady who had no customer service skills and frankly should not be on front of house!!!!

Our waitress was lovely and our food was good. The salad bar was empty and looked unclean.

The same lady on the front of house kept coming up to the lovely waitresses and moaning about customers😔

The dining area looked old and not tidy.

Real shame as the food was great

User

Food was good if you ignore the fact that I asked for another fajita (kids meal only came with one) and the waitresses reply was ‘no you’re not allowed’! I honestly thought she was joking. The rest was fine. You don’t go to harvester for fine dining anyway

User

Yesterday was the 2nd time I've visited this branch and although I had something different to the 1st time I've been unwell on both occasions after. Spending over £70 Yesterday and over £95 the first time and getting ill I will not be going back to this one again. The staff were very slow in taking our order and had to wait 25mins before we were given a glass for our drinks. The cutlery was disgusting and dirty also. The food was very basic for the price.

User

We went for breakfast at the bromley harvester as it wasn’t busy we thought it would be quicker nope after waiting for about 20 mins someone come over took the orders we then waited for almost an hour to get our food order was wrong it was cold the staff was awful then finding egg shells in the food we gave up left where there ask for the bill to be told we have to wait as there was drama in the kitchen what a show up for harvester sorry what a wait of time and money never again well we use this place WARNING TO OTHER KEEP AWAY FROM THE BROMLEY ONE THATS ALL I CAN SAY

User

Maybe I came on the wrong day. Cold coffee, undercooked sausages, overcooked bacon, wet and anaemic scrambled egg a 25 minute wait to receive it and all for the value price of £8-49.

User

I have been to this particular harvester a few times but after today I will not be returning!

The service was awfully slow and the food was not great! I had a bacon and cheese burger. The bacon was so cold, the cheese was very rubbery and the burger was burnt. My boyfriend had chicken and steak. The steak was to a very poor standard.

The card machines were not working for so long, in the end we had to drive to an ATM to withdraw cash so we could pay. Was only given a 20% discount for the inconvenience. Very disappointed.

User

I hadn’t been here for a good few years, I used to go as a kid and loved it. Brought my son here today and was disgusted.

Firstly, we were sat down with no cutlery or napkins and I had to get some from the opposite table. Once we had waited 15 mins to be asked what we wanted we went to the salad bar. The lovely salad bar people expect to be amazing! I asked for refills of about 4 bowls of different food as it was off, brown or empty. We waited for quiet a long time for the staff to come back with some of it but not all as they had ‘run out’ of it. The restaurant was near enough empty anyway so not sure how it had run out.

Anyway we had the salad we could and sat down to eat, our dinner came out quick which we was surprised and happy about (I wish I realised why it came out so quick). The corn on the cob was shiny and rock solid as it had been put in the microwave. The bacon I had on top of my chicken was all fat. I had coleslaw which I found a hair in. My son had a kids meal, he had broccoli as one of his sides, well the tips were black and disgustingly old!

By this point I was so fed up I didn’t even bother calling the staff over as I had complained about the salad bar and the corn on the cob. I was so disappointed as this used to be such a well run pub/restaurant. Now it’s a shambles and shouldn’t be allowed to serve food if they can’t meet the correct requirements.

An addition to it all, I took my son to the toilet and it was disgusting. Very dirty and to be honest shouldn’t of been in use. Tables and chairs were dirty and sticky where we sat and carpet had food all over it.

Never ever again will I go back to any harvesters or recommend to anyone.

0* if I had the choice!

For my first visit I was very disappointed and the service was so slow we never even had pudding cause we didn’t want to wait another hour just for that. As for leaving special requirements when booking online do they actually read them as I told them my mum can’t walk very well or do step, but when taken to get settled we had to walk all the way round the other side and as my mum couldn’t walk that fast even had to look to see where she went even though see could my mother with a walking stick. So I can say we won’t be eating there again

User

Food was poor. Tables sticky. One of our menus had food squashed in it - had to ask for another 'clean' menu. There was food on the carpet under the table. Salad cart dishes were almost empty and the salad cart itself needed a good wipe over with antibacterial cleaner. Took ages to get our bill and even longer to get the waitress to put our card through the machine. Toilet was filthy and no toilet paper. All in all a very disappointing first visit to a Harvester Restaurant.
