Went today for a birthday meal, staff were nice and friendly, food was nice and desserts too, would definitely recommend. Free re fills as well, on Pepsi and you could add flavours into your drink, which I never have had before. Overall nice gaff

Waitress was friendly and helpful food was great salad bar was well stocked with a good variety waiting time was not long at all especially being Mother’s Day will be visiting again

They've recently done the place up and the result is very nice indeed. Light, spacious and warm. The quality of food and drink is still awesome and the young, enthusiastic staff is helpful, friendly and fast.

T . Hubbard saturday 09/06/18 @ 12.30pm....10 years since our last visit and was very surprised at the improvements that have been made..... Parking good. Decor nice, clean and tidy ,food really really good,. And the warm friendly, service was exceptional. We shall be returning.

Went to eat here yesterday (8/7/17) 1st we were told to find our own table.. Then we went to bar to to order our food and drink, which was all round ok.. The man who served me was alright.. We then went and sat down. 3 of us attended. My 2 friends food came within 20mins. About 15minutes after they got their meal, i recieved mine. I would have preferred for us to all eat at the same time. I was still eating when they had finished. I had a medium rare steak.. but my gosh this steak was still Moooooing.. i could not cut with a steak knife. I could not chew it. I ended up spitting it out. Was awful.. so all i had was chips and salad. I would not recommend this place. And i certainly will not be going back there. I didnt complain at the time because i knew i was gonna write a bad review.. Sort it out. Unfortunetly this was my 1st and last time eating here.. i will stay well away. Wish i had read reviews before wasting my money!!

Decided to dine out at harvester with friend and our 2 children. I can honestly say I wish I'd stayed at home and cooked a meal instead. Standing in a line to get my salad bowl I got shoved out of the way by a member of staff. I decided to let it go. But later I heard someone else in the restaurant complain that the same staff member pushed them as she went past. The drinks machine was serving FLAT drinks. And when I say flat there was no bubbles it was just flavoured juice. ( which we had the pleasure to pay for )

The waitress.... well, trying to give our order she looked uninterested looking away. As I told her our order I notice she didn't have a note pad. I thought this to be odd and mentioned this. Rolling her eyes she muttered " well it's not rocket science"

The meal was ok, I can't say I finished it, and again I'd wish I'd stayed home and cooked a meal there.

And the added joke was that my son ordered from the bigger appetite kids meal and my friend son order from the meal selection above the bigger appetite kids meal. They both got the same size portion of food but friends son received his on a bigger plate! And his was more expensive. So u end up paying extra on his meal plan just for a bigger plate.

I wasnt offered any form of a refund. wasn't allowed to speak to the manager and am going home to cook myself breakfast as I am hungry and shouldn't be after paying £20.94 for our breakfast. I won't be visiting here again for food. having one chef in the kitchen to cook for so many people is unacceptable. the chairs were dirty with old food and I wasn't happy with the service. I was waiting for our cups for our coffee for nearly 20mins and our juice glasses even longer because they seemed confused this morning.

arrived today and showed to our table 20 minutes after arriving (which we booked in advance) They knew full well we said 5, but had to run off to find a chair, which was put on the end of the table and was in the way. The knifes and forks were dirty and when we told the girl, she said "yer that happens i'll get you some more" This made us feel Ill. I went to lift up the napkin which was firmly stuck to the grime on the table. Enough was enough, on leaving we noticed the Kitchen staff playing tag and not really bothered who was watching.This is beyond a joke, you need to be closed down......... Where to start with our visit here last night 08/06/18. First off, They have spent a huge fortune refurbishing this place and it looks gorgeous, just a shame the service and food don't match up to the decor. The man greeting guests at the door, kept his back to us whilst sorting out menus grunted at us that he won't be long, eventually showed us to our table. . Clearly not enough staff, took for ever for our waitress to come and take our order and really didn't look happy working there at all and kept disappearing out the back. The food took that long to cook it was unreal, the chefs didn't look like they new what they was doing. Food portions, well if you are all children then the food portions are just perfect, but as adults, the portion size to the price was terrible, extortionate pricing for the food you get! When the food eventually turned up, the Chicken was pink near the bone. Now I know chicken legs are darker meat than breasts, but when cooked properly the meat is not pink! There was 4 of us eating, and one had a burger which was lovely, but all 3 chickens had to be sent back. When my wife got her replacement it was still pink.Guess they need a new thermometer as the one they are using clearly doesn't work properly. We actually finished all our meals (apart from my wife's second bit of chicken) long before the other two replacement chicken ever came out, So two of never even got a replacement. We asked our original waitress for our bill. Again after waiting ages for our bill we ended up trying to find her. As it turned out she had disappeared yet again and couldn't be found. In our opinion because we complained she didn't want to deal with us anymore! So we then met the lovely Ita, This young lady is a huge credit to this restaurant, She goes out of her way to look after you and has excellent customer service skills.. The rest of the staff including the manager can learn a hell of a lot from this woman.. Ita thank you so much for all your help last night. If we ever come back here we will be sure to ask for you as our waitress, you made a huge difference last night thank you!

Very poor quality food, my 4oz steak was 3oz of fat !!

Unfortunately a very poor experience. Booked a table and it wasn't ready. We arrived early and waited for our table beyond the booked time. They were clearly understaffed stressed and in trouble and trying to do their best, but it was terrible. I feel for them but I'm paying for a service.



Had to pick up my own menu, drinks cups took ages, waited forever for starter which came out in the wrong plates, there were no salad plates and was told to pick one up from the bar? I asked twice because I was surprised. Needless to say there was no salad bowls at the bar.



I, my son a wife we're hungry by now and nearly an hour later still no food.



When the food does arrive it's all over cooked and burnt.



Medium steak x2, both burnt to a crisp. Mine was turned over so I didn't notice. My wife didn't order chips, no steak sauce and wasn't even asked. My son was happy because he had chips and garlic bread. Simple. That's the only good thing.



Like I said, nice polite waitress but extremely bad Service, due to short of staff. They were sadly over their heads, but that's no excuse for bad food. The kitchen was full of chefs.



I liked the place on my previous visit but cannot see myself returning in a hurry, which is unfortunate because it's a nice location.



I wished the waitress well and said I hope the rest of the evening went well (and I meant it), paid an adjusted bill and left, still hungry.

Ok where do I start? I visited the Harvester today with my son. Everything seemed fine and the waitress was quite polite. She left us to browse the menu for all of 5 minutes and seemed to be rushing us. When we did decide what to have they didn't have it, quite a few things were missing from the menu. Anyway we chose steak and egg lunch. The food arrived swimming in grease and we ended up just eating the salad and leaving the food, we remained seated chatting, but as I turned my head I notice the wood which the condiments lean against was absolutely filthy , it was covered in stale ketchup marks and goodness knows what else. When the waitress came with the bill I asked to see the manager, they sent over a girl who introduced herself as Lucy, she was polite and apologised. I then went into the toilets and there was another diner in there, I asked how her food was, she said her friend wasn't happy. I went and spoke to them and she told me her partner had been sick after he'd eaten the food. So now they had two complaints. The assistant manager gave her a full refund. She then came over to us and said she'd give us 20% off we weren't happy but we paid. I made them aware of this. My son then went back inside and then he said the general manager approached him about his complaint, he told her he wasn't happy, he said she would give him a full refund but he said she had an attitude. When he told me this, I became even more annoyed so went to speak to her. He pointed her out to me only for her to grab her bag and leave. Well Mrs General manager we shall see what you have to say tomorrow when I come to see you with photographic evidence of just how dirty the establishment you apparently manage is. You left the poor assistant manager to face us, and you call yourself management? As I'm typing this i have pains in my stomach.

Most awful service, went with my Yoga friends, food came after 2 hours, my vegetarian option was stone cold. my friends Salmon came after we all finished our dinner, other friend was told there is no Lamb after 2 hours of taking our order. Don't know why they waited 2 hours to tell her there is no lamb and she wasn't told straight away.

Would never go there again. Rubbish rubbish rubbish.

Decided on a whim to go eat despite it not being one of our best places to eat but thought we would give it another go and of course dissapointed. We arrived around 7pm on saturday 10June

I will endeavour to keep this brief

I ordered 7oz gammon with chips swapped for jacket potato peas and a beef tomato, as the menu dictated. It artived swimming in grease the gammon was in my opinion from viewing it a large slice of fatty bacon not what i woukd consider gammon the jacket was left over heated up small and burnt and the flesh grey looking the peas were minimal and had seen better days and a lump of a tomota

All very unappetsing and poorly presented

The salad bar poor, all the brown rolls as hard as rock and pale in colour there was no white rolls the salad dishes needed replenishing and the condiments at the end of the salad bar were nearly all empty i find it quite frustrating to have to keep asking for things somebody should be on the case and ensuring there is adequate food out available for customers.

I made a scond choice and of course because i did not make it clear on 2nd choice this arrived with chips o i just adked for them to be removed. I wasnt offered anything else

My partner had sirloin steak it was ok the chips were ok but the steak knife was blunt please address this cant cut with blunt knives.



We felt rushed and complaining didnt really make me feel. Comfortable either the only upside was the you g girl who showed us to our seats and was extremely polite and helpful she had the lovely bright orange hair



On another note the toilets are of a poor standard for a large establishment not long after we arrived i went in to find them in such a poor state.

Harvester this is not good it appears a staffing issue and poor customer relations.

Booked a table for today. We haven't been since the refurb, all the menu has changed, not Harvester's fault but all our favourites had gone. Waitress took our order without barely a word or looking at us. No cutlery or napkins on the tables, we had to go in search of these ourselves. Puddles of water in the bowls in the salad bar, lots of empty spaces and choices changed there too, not for the better. I asked (I assume he was the manager) for a straw for my son and was told if none by the drinks machine they'd run out, although milkshakes came out from the kitchen with straws, my son is autistic and struggles without a straw, (again, this is not Harvester's fault but they were very dismissive of my request.)

Food arrived on cold plates. Rotissierie chicken very dry and as it's served without gravy now not much to rescue it, jacket potato was cremated. Others had cod and chips and a burger, they were both happy with their choices.

Not sure we'll be back again.

Waitress was friendly and helpful food was great salad bar was well stocked with a good variety waiting time was not long at all especially being Mother’s Day will be visiting again

They've recently done the place up and the result is very nice indeed. Light, spacious and warm. The quality of food and drink is still awesome and the young, enthusiastic staff is helpful, friendly and fast.

T . Hubbard saturday 09/06/18 @ 12.30pm....10 years since our last visit and was very surprised at the improvements that have been made..... Parking good. Decor nice, clean and tidy ,food really really good,. And the warm friendly, service was exceptional. We shall be returning.

Went to eat here yesterday (8/7/17) 1st we were told to find our own table.. Then we went to bar to to order our food and drink, which was all round ok.. The man who served me was alright.. We then went and sat down. 3 of us attended. My 2 friends food came within 20mins. About 15minutes after they got their meal, i recieved mine. I would have preferred for us to all eat at the same time. I was still eating when they had finished. I had a medium rare steak.. but my gosh this steak was still Moooooing.. i could not cut with a steak knife. I could not chew it. I ended up spitting it out. Was awful.. so all i had was chips and salad. I would not recommend this place. And i certainly will not be going back there. I didnt complain at the time because i knew i was gonna write a bad review.. Sort it out. Unfortunetly this was my 1st and last time eating here.. i will stay well away. Wish i had read reviews before wasting my money!!

Decided to dine out at harvester with friend and our 2 children. I can honestly say I wish I'd stayed at home and cooked a meal instead. Standing in a line to get my salad bowl I got shoved out of the way by a member of staff. I decided to let it go. But later I heard someone else in the restaurant complain that the same staff member pushed them as she went past. The drinks machine was serving FLAT drinks. And when I say flat there was no bubbles it was just flavoured juice. ( which we had the pleasure to pay for )

The waitress.... well, trying to give our order she looked uninterested looking away. As I told her our order I notice she didn't have a note pad. I thought this to be odd and mentioned this. Rolling her eyes she muttered " well it's not rocket science"

The meal was ok, I can't say I finished it, and again I'd wish I'd stayed home and cooked a meal there.

And the added joke was that my son ordered from the bigger appetite kids meal and my friend son order from the meal selection above the bigger appetite kids meal. They both got the same size portion of food but friends son received his on a bigger plate! And his was more expensive. So u end up paying extra on his meal plan just for a bigger plate.

went here for breakfast today with my kids and my mate. what a joke. my food wasn't even cooked properly. I wasnt offered any form of a refund. wasn't allowed to speak to the manager and am going home to cook myself breakfast as I am hungry and shouldn't be after paying £20.94 for our breakfast. I won't be visiting here again for food. having one chef in the kitchen to cook for so many people is unacceptable. the chairs were dirty with old food and I wasn't happy with the service. I was waiting for our cups for our coffee for nearly 20mins and our juice glasses even longer because they seemed confused this morning.

arrived today and showed to our table 20 minutes after arriving (which we booked in advance) They knew full well we said 5, but had to run off to find a chair, which was put on the end of the table and was in the way. The knifes and forks were dirty and when we told the girl, she said "yer that happens i'll get you some more" This made us feel Ill. I went to lift up the napkin which was firmly stuck to the grime on the table. Enough was enough, on leaving we noticed the Kitchen staff playing tag and not really bothered who was watching.This is beyond a joke, you need to be closed down......... Where to start with our visit here last night 08/06/18. First off, They have spent a huge fortune refurbishing this place and it looks gorgeous, just a shame the service and food don't match up to the decor. The man greeting guests at the door, kept his back to us whilst sorting out menus grunted at us that he won't be long, eventually showed us to our table. . Clearly not enough staff, took for ever for our waitress to come and take our order and really didn't look happy working there at all and kept disappearing out the back. The food took that long to cook it was unreal, the chefs didn't look like they new what they was doing. Food portions, well if you are all children then the food portions are just perfect, but as adults, the portion size to the price was terrible, extortionate pricing for the food you get! When the food eventually turned up, the Chicken was pink near the bone. Now I know chicken legs are darker meat than breasts, but when cooked properly the meat is not pink! There was 4 of us eating, and one had a burger which was lovely, but all 3 chickens had to be sent back. When my wife got her replacement it was still pink.Guess they need a new thermometer as the one they are using clearly doesn't work properly. We actually finished all our meals (apart from my wife's second bit of chicken) long before the other two replacement chicken ever came out, So two of never even got a replacement. We asked our original waitress for our bill. Again after waiting ages for our bill we ended up trying to find her. As it turned out she had disappeared yet again and couldn't be found. In our opinion because we complained she didn't want to deal with us anymore! So we then met the lovely Ita, This young lady is a huge credit to this restaurant, She goes out of her way to look after you and has excellent customer service skills.. The rest of the staff including the manager can learn a hell of a lot from this woman.. Ita thank you so much for all your help last night. If we ever come back here we will be sure to ask for you as our waitress, you made a huge difference last night thank you!

Very poor quality food, my 4oz steak was 3oz of fat !!

Unfortunately a very poor experience. Booked a table and it wasn't ready. We arrived early and waited for our table beyond the booked time. They were clearly understaffed stressed and in trouble and trying to do their best, but it was terrible. I feel for them but I'm paying for a service.



Had to pick up my own menu, drinks cups took ages, waited forever for starter which came out in the wrong plates, there were no salad plates and was told to pick one up from the bar? I asked twice because I was surprised. Needless to say there was no salad bowls at the bar.



I, my son a wife we're hungry by now and nearly an hour later still no food.



When the food does arrive it's all over cooked and burnt.



Medium steak x2, both burnt to a crisp. Mine was turned over so I didn't notice. My wife didn't order chips, no steak sauce and wasn't even asked. My son was happy because he had chips and garlic bread. Simple. That's the only good thing.



Like I said, nice polite waitress but extremely bad Service, due to short of staff. They were sadly over their heads, but that's no excuse for bad food. The kitchen was full of chefs.



I liked the place on my previous visit but cannot see myself returning in a hurry, which is unfortunate because it's a nice location.



I wished the waitress well and said I hope the rest of the evening went well (and I meant it), paid an adjusted bill and left, still hungry.

Stay away from this one..Not the staffs fault they had run out of most food and drink the management should be sacked.

Even the potato salad was raw uncooked potato..How hard can that be to boil potatoes before putting them in a salad...poor show Harvester��

Ok where do I start? I visited the Harvester today with my son. Everything seemed fine and the waitress was quite polite. She left us to browse the menu for all of 5 minutes and seemed to be rushing us. When we did decide what to have they didn't have it, quite a few things were missing from the menu. Anyway we chose steak and egg lunch. The food arrived swimming in grease and we ended up just eating the salad and leaving the food, we remained seated chatting, but as I turned my head I notice the wood which the condiments lean against was absolutely filthy , it was covered in stale ketchup marks and goodness knows what else. When the waitress came with the bill I asked to see the manager, they sent over a girl who introduced herself as Lucy, she was polite and apologised. I then went into the toilets and there was another diner in there, I asked how her food was, she said her friend wasn't happy. I went and spoke to them and she told me her partner had been sick after he'd eaten the food. So now they had two complaints. The assistant manager gave her a full refund. She then came over to us and said she'd give us 20% off we weren't happy but we paid. I made them aware of this. My son then went back inside and then he said the general manager approached him about his complaint, he told her he wasn't happy, he said she would give him a full refund but he said she had an attitude. When he told me this, I became even more annoyed so went to speak to her. He pointed her out to me only for her to grab her bag and leave. Well Mrs General manager we shall see what you have to say tomorrow when I come to see you with photographic evidence of just how dirty the establishment you apparently manage is. You left the poor assistant manager to face us, and you call yourself management? As I'm typing this i have pains in my stomach.

Most awful service, went with my Yoga friends, food came after 2 hours, my vegetarian option was stone cold. my friends Salmon came after we all finished our dinner, other friend was told there is no Lamb after 2 hours of taking our order. Don't know why they waited 2 hours to tell her there is no lamb and she wasn't told straight away.

Would never go there again. Rubbish rubbish rubbish.

Decided on a whim to go eat despite it not being one of our best places to eat but thought we would give it another go and of course dissapointed. We arrived around 7pm on saturday 10June

I will endeavour to keep this brief

I ordered 7oz gammon with chips swapped for jacket potato peas and a beef tomato, as the menu dictated. It artived swimming in grease the gammon was in my opinion from viewing it a large slice of fatty bacon not what i woukd consider gammon the jacket was left over heated up small and burnt and the flesh grey looking the peas were minimal and had seen better days and a lump of a tomota

All very unappetsing and poorly presented

The salad bar poor, all the brown rolls as hard as rock and pale in colour there was no white rolls the salad dishes needed replenishing and the condiments at the end of the salad bar were nearly all empty i find it quite frustrating to have to keep asking for things somebody should be on the case and ensuring there is adequate food out available for customers.

I made a scond choice and of course because i did not make it clear on 2nd choice this arrived with chips o i just adked for them to be removed. I wasnt offered anything else

My partner had sirloin steak it was ok the chips were ok but the steak knife was blunt please address this cant cut with blunt knives.



We felt rushed and complaining didnt really make me feel. Comfortable either the only upside was the you g girl who showed us to our seats and was extremely polite and helpful she had the lovely bright orange hair



On another note the toilets are of a poor standard for a large establishment not long after we arrived i went in to find them in such a poor state.

Harvester this is not good it appears a staffing issue and poor customer relations.

Booked a table for today. We haven't been since the refurb, all the menu has changed, not Harvester's fault but all our favourites had gone. Waitress took our order without barely a word or looking at us. No cutlery or napkins on the tables, we had to go in search of these ourselves. Puddles of water in the bowls in the salad bar, lots of empty spaces and choices changed there too, not for the better. I asked (I assume he was the manager) for a straw for my son and was told if none by the drinks machine they'd run out, although milkshakes came out from the kitchen with straws, my son is autistic and struggles without a straw, (again, this is not Harvester's fault but they were very dismissive of my request.)

Food arrived on cold plates. Rotissierie chicken very dry and as it's served without gravy now not much to rescue it, jacket potato was cremated. Others had cod and chips and a burger, they were both happy with their choices.

Not sure we'll be back again.
