3 3 week old hoglets in also today all orphaned and hungry

Hoggie called Ron who has been bitten by a dog came in today he's comfortable and had his wounds cleaned and had antibiotics and pain relief x

For those of you who don't know why I started my hedgehog rescue , here's the story why xx

THANKYOU to everyone who has donated towards the hedgehogs over the last week ill be ordering lots of formula ,food and other essentials tonight for them xx

This little madam just will not keep still she was found this morning by Steph and her family by earlston library .she has problems with both eyes and a small wound to the side of her shoulder blade .she's been started on antibiotics and her wound cleaned up but not letting me near her eyes yet so I'll let her settle first before poking and prodding anymore x

HOGLETS . I'm getting inundated with calls for hoglets being found of a night time .after dusk it is completely fine for hoglets to be walking round in your garden and unless injured there is no need for you to rescue them.they are doing exactly what they should be doing .mum is probably close by supervising ,maybe still even weaning them or planning it's time they should make their own way in the world .You may even hear them calling for her if one wanders a little too far.unless they are out during the day or injured please leave them be xx

Just quickly so you can all see it's not just cute orphans we get to raise its also really sick ones like this little fella with loads of fly strike which needs removing and live maggots which have now been removed massive wound to back legs and tummy area fingers crossed x

Spiketteas hoglets are all at great weights and are now off to be released with their finder stay safe you 4 xx
