we can say this was are first time visiting Hempstead house and we will be back again. from the moment we arrived we got a hello, and an offer to take our bags to reception. the staff was so helpful and wished me a happy birthday. The dining room was lovely taking you back in time. we cant say thank you enough to the dining staff who was not only kind to write happy birthday in chocolate and decorate the table for us, but how nice they are when serving and professional looking as well. the cream tea with champagne was so nice one of the best we have had in a long time. our room was amazing and we had a private terrace. The room was very clean and presentable. the gardens are beautiful and well looked after.The spa is a very nice addition to the hotel and very relaxing, the only thing my husband and me agreed on was that the chairs could go and more loungers put in, the massage I would recommend very nice and relaxed after . we look forward to coming again we would have done another night If we could have, keep it up all the staff.

We were there last Sunday for my step daughters wedding and it was everything you could have wished for and more. The venue is lovely & the staff very friendly & efficient. The food was delicious & the service very professional. Danny did a great job in paricular so a special thank you goes to him. Well done Hempstead House :-)

We spent Sunday night there as a Red Letter Day gift. Very attentive staff, great room. Very nice dinner and breakfast next day. Spa facilities good and made full use of pool and sauna/steam room. Would go there again.

We have just returned from Hempsted House we're we got married yesterday. I stayed with my bridesmaids and friend on Friday. The venue is the best and the staff are exceptional. Danny the wedding planner is the best he was there when we got engaged so obviously we wanted him there for the special day. He went above our expectations. Hempstead house look after him before some other hotel snatches him. Food was amazing. Rooms was beautiful and the grounds are the best for photo shoots. We had the ceremony in the summer house which was so special the staff just done everything I asked for. We were treated to a spa treatments as a wedding present � we finished the weekend off

We had an afternoon tea as a baby shower for my friend yesterday and they were fantastic. Very attentive, fabulous service and really welcoming. I have a dairy and egg allergy and one other guest is celiac and they went above and beyond to accommodate our requirements. I havent had a decent cake in years so to not only get to have several but to have them look just like everyone elses is no mean feat and it was wonderful to be taken care of in the way they did for us. Highly recommend a visit and we will be returning very soon. I also found it brilliant that the chef came to meet us personally and whilst was honest to say that it had been a challenge he was please to serve us hoped we enjoyed. A credit to him and the team!

Just returning home from an overnight stay with my husband and children after attending a family wedding (not at this hotel though) I have to say I could not fault it. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. I requested an early check-in for just one of the rooms to allow us to freshen up as we had travelled 200 miles . When we got there 2/3 of our rooms were a available early for us. The rooms were all excellent. Breakfast was lovely and the pool and spa facilities was one of the best I have been to. Beautiful grounds too. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect- Thank you

Just returned from our wkd away for our anniversary. We got married here two yrs ago and have been back for this and our first .The staff are always lovely and food exceptional! We have stayed in the wedding suite and the new part and both are lovely .The only thing I could say is its a shame the spa area is not quite big enough for the amount of people but still lovely .we will always return ! I think the secret maybe out so I may book next yr early !

Had a surprise spa day with my daughter yesterday and her godmother & my goddaughter as carly my daughter moving to 0z in a few weeks what a beautiful place so peaceful friendly helpful hot stone massage amazing ! jacuzzi hydro pool swimming pool all in a dimly lit relaxing atmosphere steam room & sauna lovely lunch and pink procesco soft snuggle robes slippers and towels u could change for new towels as many times as u like perfect place for relaxing will definitely be back 😀

Always go for the back and shoulders message but had a aromatherapy facial what an amazing experience. Couldn’t fault the staff very friendly and treatment wonderful. Can’t wait for my next trip x

Had a great time here last night celebrating NYE. There was a great atmosphere in the Heritage suite and the food was excellent! Staff looked after us very well and the band got everyone up on the dance floor. Great time had by all!

Had a fabulous spa day yesterday for my partners valentines gift , we thoroughly enjoyed it , from the food to the treatments to the use of all the facilities there that's on offer , we felt totally chilled and relaxed , will definitely be booking to go back .

Gorgeous afternoon tea today to celebrate my mums 70th birthday. Lovely food and outstanding customer service xx

A lovely spa break away for my husbands birthday, fantastic food, lovely staff and wonderful treatments. I normally come here for girls spa breaks on birthdays, my husband is now hooked too. Thank you Hempstead House 😀

I invited some friends to dinner to say thank you for their kindness to me and we were treated so well. The food was superb with the exception, sadly, of one dish which was overdone. Other than that, the evening, the food and wine were faultless. I would be very happy indeed to use the hotel and restaurant for my friends and colleagues in the future.

Spent a day here with my mum for a spa day. Staff were excellent, very attentive although it could have been majorly improved by a couple of small things. I was not impressed we had been charged £2.50 for a green tea at lunchtime (which was free if you just went upstairs to the relaxation room). Also the massage we had was very good but the room we were taken into was too bright and the music was barely audible and did nothing to cover the chatting going on right outside the door whilst people were having manicures done. The overall experience of the massage would have been greatly improved with these small changes.

We got married here a few years ago and it was amazing, beautiful venue all round, fantastic staff, excellent food! Can’t fault the venue/staff at all, everything is done to perfection. Plus the icing on the cake is you get to enjoy the spa the day after. Friends/relatives still compliment how nice the day was. I highly recommend Hempstead House!

We and my friend had amazing time at this hotel. The massage was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was so clean. Looking forward going back again. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just returning home from an overnight stay with my husband and children after attending a family wedding (not at this hotel though) I have to say I could not fault it. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. I requested an early check-in for just one of the rooms to allow us to freshen up as we had travelled 200 miles . When we got there 2/3 of our rooms were a available early for us. The rooms were all excellent. Breakfast was lovely and the pool and spa facilities was one of the best I have been to. Beautiful grounds too. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect- Thank you

Just returned from our wkd away for our anniversary. We got married here two yrs ago and have been back for this and our first .The staff are always lovely and food exceptional! We have stayed in the wedding suite and the new part and both are lovely .The only thing I could say is its a shame the spa area is not quite big enough for the amount of people but still lovely .we will always return ! I think the secret maybe out so I may book next yr early !

Had a surprise spa day with my daughter yesterday and her godmother & my goddaughter as carly my daughter moving to 0z in a few weeks what a beautiful place so peaceful friendly helpful hot stone massage amazing ! jacuzzi hydro pool swimming pool all in a dimly lit relaxing atmosphere steam room & sauna lovely lunch and pink procesco soft snuggle robes slippers and towels u could change for new towels as many times as u like perfect place for relaxing will definitely be back 😀

Had a really afternoon with my mum. Booked in for lunch first food was really good. Then went up for treatment. Always go for the back and shoulders message but had a aromatherapy facial what an amazing experience. Couldn’t fault the staff very friendly and treatment wonderful. Can’t wait for my next trip x

Had a great time here last night celebrating NYE. There was a great atmosphere in the Heritage suite and the food was excellent! Staff looked after us very well and the band got everyone up on the dance floor. Great time had by all!

Had a fabulous spa day yesterday for my partners valentines gift , we thoroughly enjoyed it , from the food to the treatments to the use of all the facilities there that's on offer , we felt totally chilled and relaxed , will definitely be booking to go back .

A lovely spa break away for my husbands birthday, fantastic food, lovely staff and wonderful treatments. I normally come here for girls spa breaks on birthdays, my husband is now hooked too. Thank you Hempstead House 😀

I invited some friends to dinner to say thank you for their kindness to me and we were treated so well. The food was superb with the exception, sadly, of one dish which was overdone. Other than that, the evening, the food and wine were faultless. I would be very happy indeed to use the hotel and restaurant for my friends and colleagues in the future.

Spent a day here with my mum for a spa day. Staff were excellent, very attentive although it could have been majorly improved by a couple of small things. I was not impressed we had been charged £2.50 for a green tea at lunchtime (which was free if you just went upstairs to the relaxation room). Also the massage we had was very good but the room we were taken into was too bright and the music was barely audible and did nothing to cover the chatting going on right outside the door whilst people were having manicures done. The overall experience of the massage would have been greatly improved with these small changes.
