About Herne Hill Free Film Festival
Herne Hill Free Film Festival (HHFFF) is run by volunteers for the good of the community, in collaboration with www. freefilmfestivals.org.
Herne Hill Free Film Festival Description
Thanks to a grant from Film London and assistance from the Herne Hill forum, we were able to run the first Herne Hill free film festival, running from April 19 - June 1 2013.
Film London enabled the HHFFF to put on a core of four outdoor screenings in iconic landmarks of Herne Hill.
From 2014 onwards, the HHFFF no longer has Film London funding. The Herne Hill forum has pledged its support financially but we will be seeking funding and sponsorship from other sources too.
We invite anyone else who would like to organise a free film screening themselves in a venue in SE24 to get in contact with us during February. We will include the event under the HHFFF 'umbrella' and include it in our publicity and promotion. The individuals or organisations who are included under this umbrella are entirely responsible for the screenings they organise, although help will be given by HHFFF volunteers.
There is no 'management' of the Herne Hill free film festival, we are just a bunch of dedicated volunteers who do their best to put on free, fun events for the film loving community of Herne Hill. If you want to get involved, come along to our meetings, everyone welcome!
