Herts & Essex Blood Bowl League

The HEBBL is a well established tabletop Blood Bowl League based in the UK. We currently have over 45 members with 16 coaches currently active.

The HEBBL is a well established tabletop Blood Bowl League based in the UK. We currently have over 45 members with 16 active coaches.

We have a very diverse league, with every Blood Bowl race having been represented over our six season history.

Each team plays one league fixture per week, with A League Cup, Easter Bowl, Santa Bowl, and Pro Bowl also thrown in! In addition, our finals day incorporates the KO phases of the league and a Blood Bowl 7’s tournament!

We play with a number of house rules, all of which can be found in the resources section of this site.

We have just completed our eighth season, with eight teams fighting it out in our Final’s day. Four Quarter-finals, two semi finals and the Grand Final are all played in a single day at a venue exclusive to the League!

Our current League champions are The Amsterdam Bongrockets (Steve - Wood Elves).

Our Current League Cup champions are The Laboratory Rats (Lurch - Skaven).

Our Current Blood Bowl 7’s Champions are Unnamed Human team (Ian White).

All of the HEBBL coaches regularly meet up for a ‘players meeting’ to discuss any issues each player may have and iron out any rule queries. In essence it is a night out for having a beer and a chat!

In our eighth season, 16 coaches once again returned to compete for glory! ! We are always looking to add more players, so if you are interested in joining the league, please do not hesitate to get in touch or simply join the forum and introduce yourself!

Season 9 is now underway!

We are looking for players from across the country to set up and run new leagues alongside ours under the umbrella of the HEBBL, so that we can have the top players from each region come together and compete in a playoff weekend at the end of each season.
