Crops available for pick your own-
Eating apples ūüćé (8 different varieties to choose from including cox‚Äôs, golden delicious & gala) Cooking apples ūüćŹ Plums ... Pears ūüćź Cabbage Broccoli ūü•¶ French beans Runner beans Sweet corn ūüĆĹ Spinach Swiss chard Courgettes Marrows Large selection of different pumpkins and squash ūüéÉ ( varieties including crown prince, gems, spaghetti squash, kabosha & acorn)
We still have another patch of cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower hopefully it will be ready to pick in 2 weeks.
We will be running our tractor train every Sunday from 11.30 am - 5.30pm
We are open every day 9am- 5.30pm last entry into the farm is 4.30pm
All apple varieties are now ready to store through out the winter.
Large quantities of produce picked will be charge at a discounted rate.
Halloween pumpkins ūüéÉ are ready now and can be picked from the fields from the end of September.

We are open as usually this bank holiday weekend. 9am- 5.30pm last entry onto the farm is 4.30pm The tractor train will be running on Sunday and bank holiday Monday (not Saturday)

We have lots of delicious plums for pick your own and for sale in our farm shop.
We also have spinach, Swiss chard, cabbage, courgettes, some broad beans & apples
We are ūüôŹ praying for some of the rain that is forecast for us over night and then hopefully the other fruit and vegetables will ripen quickly and be ready for pick your own.

Every Sunday and Thursday there will be a mobile pizzeria van in Hewitts farm car park serving delicious handmade stone baked pizzas!

Update on our pick your own crop situation.....
Strawberries are now finishing there is still a few but you need to search for them.
Raspberries are ripening slowly so you will also have to search for them.
... We have red and black currants to pick, as well as spinach, Swiss chard, broadbeans, courgettes, peas (smaller in size due to the lack of rain).
We hope in the next 3 weeks we should have our early plums and apples ūüćé
And as soon as we get some rain more veggies should be available such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, baby beetroot, marrows, French beans & runner beans.
We will keep everyone updated when we have new crops to pick!

We are open Saturday until 5.30pm last entry into the farm is 4.30pm.
The pick your own will be closed all day Sunday 8th July this is due to the lack of fruit we have ready to pick at the moment, because of the lack of rain the fruit isn’t ripening as quick as we hoped so we will not be able to cater for the higher volume of customers we see on a Sunday.
