Heyday Designs was created by designer and illustrator Flo Thomas in 2017.

Since graduating in 2014, Flo worked as an editorial /graphic designer. After returning from a trip to Iceland in March 2017, having been inspired by the stunning landscapes, Flo decided to spend her free time exploring digital illustration. She began creating travel poster style artwork from her holiday snaps to fill her home with memories. By October 2017 Flo had been suitably convinced her artwork was ready to share with the world and set up (Etsy) shop.

Flo has continued to expand her portfolio of designs and improved her technique, building a successful business in her spare time. Finding it increasingly challenging to manage her full-time role as Senior Designer /Production Manager and the ever-growing demand for her illustrations, she took the plunge and decided to leave her full-time career and build on the success of her business in June 2019.

Flo enjoyed a rural childhood in Norfolk and Suffolk. Currently residing in the picturesque north Essex village of Finchingfield, Flo often draws on the beauty of her surroundings as inspiration for her collection of local artwork.

Flo sells direct from her online Etsy shop and also supplies to independent retailers in the UK and USA.
