What a great stay, me and my wife decided to take a trip to London as a mini-moon shortly after getting married.

Pros: It is in a great location just a short walk from euston station with excellent transport links into the main centre of London. We were treated very well by the all the staff particularly Mawelle the duty manager- big thank you! The room was as expected from the pictures newly refurbished and was nice and comfortable with a modern bathroom. The breakfast was great with anything you could think of and lots of it. Overall a very good and enjoyable stay with great food and customer service.

Cons:

Single glazed windows let in a lot of noise in our room. And the wardrobe door closest door would not open fully and you couldn't put your clothes in on the hangers as they were too wide.

User

We were booked in late yesterday and everything was fantastic. The breakfast selection was very wide only small niggle was bacon a bit dry and cooked tomatoes were cold but otherwise excellent and would happily stay again and for central London rates were excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.

User

We came in for brunch after a long train journey that had no buffet cart so we were all parched and hungry, we all had lovely food and the lady who served us was lovely helpful and professional.

User

Lovely hotel and staff, especially No√Ђlle (I hope I have her name right) in reception who was very accommodating and gave us a larger room after we had been checked in a smaller one. She saw us come in on the camera and checked which room we were given and changed us with more space for my boy who is in a wheerlchair. Great location too, literally 3 minutes' walk from Euston Station!

User

Just returned from here. Stayed as a party of four. After reading some of the reviews on Tripadvisor, we went with an open mind. The hotel itself is a perfect mix of contemporary & classic. We stayed in a twin room, which was spacious, well decorated & well equipped.

Every staff member was professional, attentive & friendly. Jeff the duty manager, is nothing short than amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for him, & ensures that each guest, receives nothing but top class service. A great asset to the Hilton brand. The bar & waiting staff attended to our every need to the highest standard. A big thank you to Rhys who served us on our last day. Francesco the concierge, was friendly, professional & knowledgeable of the local area, & always greeted us with a huge smile.

The housekeeping staff service the rooms to a high standard, & deserve a huge thank you also.

Breakfast had lots on offer. Catering for every pallet. A variety of breads, fruits, cheese, meats, juices & much more on offer. With again, excellent service. Thanks to everyone who, made our stay a memorable one! The lady manager deserves a lot of credit for her fabulous staff!

User

A really lovely hotel...Great location and service very good.

User

Stayed there 2 nights either side of a trip to Disneyland Paris.

First night wasnвАЩt too impressed, staff seemed very unwelcoming especially felt they were looking down their nose at my disabled son.

Beds werenвАЩt ready when for kids when we checked in but that was resolved very quickly.

Room was lovely and provided what we needed

On return staff much for friendly and accommodating, room was smaller but still more than sufficient for out needs.

If I was to stay in central London again. I would definitely look at the hotel again. Price would make the decision for me based on rivals in the area.

User

Stayed here for a couple nights with my son on a mini holiday. Room was ready when we arrived which was earlier than 3pm. Very clean.. spacious and lush bathroom suite. Only one downside... no mirror above dressing table for drying my hair. The tv was there instead. No plug sockets near the full length mirror on the outside of the wardrobe.

The hotel breakfast was very tasty and so much choice. Its very close to Euston station which gets you into the heart of London itself.

Loved it. Would Definately come back and recommend. Staff were fab too

User

It the 2nd time my wife and I have stayed here the last in 2012. We came back for our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel and its staff are still excellent and friendly with a good overall service. Breakfast was fantastic of high quality and plenty of choice. The reason I gave 4 stars and not five was on getting back to the room after breakfast on our check out day housekeeping was trying to get into our room to clean it. I asked if she could come back after we left the room and checked out she said ok what time would that be? I found this quite rude since checkout is at 12 surely as a guest of the hotel we are free to chose when we leave and not be asked for a time!!

User

I was there for a meeting and had lunch while waiting. I had the omlettte for lunch, good portion size and reasonable price. Very accommodating to leave out onions. Good service and coffee.

User

We arrived at 1pm to be told our room would not be ready until 3pm (this was fine and expected) we left our luggage and headed out. It was 28 degrees and when we got back to the hotel at 4pm we were dehydrated and very hot as you can imagine. On arrival we were told our room was still not ready пњљ this I was not happy about at all.

When we finally got to our room 20 mins later the room was too warm and the air conditioning was broken.

The hotel staff seemed lovely though, I'm not sure I would stay here again as I feel those things spoiled what was otherwise a lovely weekend. We saved up to have a luxurious stay in a beautiful hotel and I was disappointed пњљ

User

Not what we expected from a 5* hotel. Room so very small although nicely decorated. We asked for a quiet room but don't think many would be quiet due to its situation. The breakfast room was very bland and could easily have been a Premier Inn. Cheap tinned fruit was on offer and the hot food was 'just warm'. There was one toaster and one hot drinks machine which were not adequate and caused queues. Tables were left with used crockery and the room looked messy. Would not return.

User

Nice hotel in a really good location in London. My room was small but set out well. Was on the side of the hotel, despite being booked as a quiet room st the back of the hotel, so was noisy earlier in the night. The main issue I would have is that the shower was absolutely rubbish. Door didnвАЩt shut properly and more important was that the water pressure was terrible. Would have been better standing outside in the rain to wash off shampoo etc. staff really friendly and helpful (though I had to ring the day after to get my email invoice). No restaurant available for the evening as closed so had to eat in the bar. Food good though.

User

All in all the stay was O.K as the location is good. Yet, our bathroom was not cleaned properly so we had to ask for it. The breakfast choice is nice BUT we unfortunately we forgot our umbrella, which has a personal value to us. I e-mailed the hotel right away but I NEVER got a response...

User

Wasn't impressed by this hotel. Although we were aware there would be issues with the air conditioning , we didn't expect the room to be so very hot. We had to ask for an extra fan, we returned after a stroll outside to cool down to find an air cooler had been left in the room. A jet engine in the room would have been quieter. The one lift catches and judders terribly as it reaches each floor and you feel like it may stop at any minute and you'll be stuck. The mirror in that lift is smashed and has been 'repaired' with selotape. We went for breakfast in the morning after an awful nights sleep to be greeted by a member of staff who's understanding of English was limited. Four times I had to tell him the room number before he finally gave up looking for it and wrote down the wrong room number! We often stay at Hiltons as we know there is a high standard. This hotel failed. Considering it's location I expected much higher standards. We shan't be returning to this particular Hilton when we return to London.

User

This hotel needs both style and class. Very worn out and the staff have been there to long time. Not motivated to make the customers happy.

Booked a double room,159 pounds and got a single bed, even if you have booked a double room. When i complained Hilton's answer: "It's our standard".

As I said at the hotel ...... thank you, it describes everything.

Never put your feet on the Hilton, worse experience and service is not given anywhere else.

And would you please release my money, as you have made reservations on my credit card.

User

I think itвАЩs appalling that a big hotel chain does not offer an early check in facility. Very poor in my opinion. Would not stop there again

User

I had problems with reservations initially who could not understand my request needs and had to escalate to have the issue rectified.

Upon stopping at the hotel the room compared to the phots is misrepresented as the size is extremely small box room, the desk and chair are way to close to the bottom of the bed .

I had problems with the thermostat as would not decrease in temp and eventually switched it off by the mains. The window can only be described as a prison like and does not even open much, looks nothing like the photos again misrepresented.

The room was dusty and believe had not been used and I got the short straw for a crap and cheap night on Hilton.

The shower has no power and is shameful compared for the Hamptons modern luxuary power showers.

I had a group of Orientals running up and down the corridor all night which was reported but nothing was done, constant door slamming by the same group.

No mention of a £50 deposit taken at reception either, waiting for the refund !

Overall misleading by the photos of the hotel, standards I experienced are low and reported matters to reception u resolved.

Not worth the money and the brand has let me down, I would have been better at the Travelodge down the road.

Will be adding photos on other review sites.

User

Check in was 3 ! Had to go for a walk and hang around reception for nearly an hour before our room was ready! Gone 4 by the time we got it.. Which put our day behind schedule! Staff are terrible and un-welcoming! Girl on reception put so much emphasis on using the Wifi ... Giving us a card with the code on and ringing it with a pen ... Only to realise later and not being imformed that WiFi usage is an incredible £15 a day - The staff are obviously trained into pushing this on you without notifying you of the charge!!! Worst Hilton if not hotel I've ever stopped at ... Avoid at all costs.
