Hipgrave Plastering

Here I plaster boarded and plastered a kitchen ceiling before a coat of primer ready for Venetian to be applied. I then put 3 coats of marmorino undercoat to get a deep texture, leaving at least 12 hours in between. I then added 1 coat of grey Classico Venetian plaster ( very popular colour ) and left for 12 hours before applying another 2 coats and burnishing at the same time. I then left it again before applying 2 coats of natural bees wax with 4 hours in between each coat and then finished the ceiling with a mechanical buff. Very happy with this effect, one of the best Classico finishes I have done thus far. VENETIAN PLASTERING.

Bit of a challenge this one. Ceiling was bonded and curved in 5 places before being plastered in High Easter, Roxwell. Great finish and lovely bathroom.
