Well what can I say, I won the wonderful competition for a £50 restaurant credit and came here tonight on mothers day with my mum, daughter and husband, and had such a wonderful time, from the minute we walked in we was welcomed by lovely, friendly staff who made us feel so welcome, we waited a few minutes then was sat down at the comfy table and even was brought 2 glasses of sparkling wine for me and my mother for mothers day, I can't even begin to tell you how lovely the staff were, we didn't wait long for.the meals and they were delicious, not 1 bad thing to.say but how tasty it all was, I just want to thank all the staff for making our visit a lovely one x Thankyou again. Highly recommend eating here.

We spent two nights here for my daughter's 7th birthday. We booked a surprise visit to London for her and she absolutely loved it! So much so that she wrote a note for your staff which i've attached in the comments.

Your staff were wonderful and we were told had they known it was for her birthday they would have decorated our room! Above and beyond. Thank you from myself and a very happy 7 year old little girl!

We have had an incredible stay here for our short break in London as a family of 3. My experience with the hotel started when I telephoned a day before arrival to ask a few questions. The lady on the phone was so friendly and helpful (sorry I didn't get her name but she was a lovely Scottish lady) with advice for car parking and the London tube.

The hotel allowed us to leave luggage in a locked cupboard before check in, as we travelled quite far so this was very handy as we could then spend a full day out without having to wait around to check in - fantastic!

Car park is very secure so you can feel at ease leaving your car here.

Hotel location is great. You are within a 2 minute walk to the local DLR Royal Albert which gets you into central London quickly - perfect for days out to visit the attractions.

Room is extremely clean and a sofa bed made up for my 2 year old toddler with plenty of room. It is quiet and well sound proofed. The hotel is very welcoming for children too which is great.

We ate in the evenings at the hotel. Your member of staff Paula is fantastic and made our stay here memorable. She is brilliant with children - my 2 year old daughter took quite a shine to her. Nothing was too much trouble - Paula gave us a lovely, professional and helpful service with a smile. Made us feel very welcome!

The included breakfast is great with a hot and continental option which we found brilliant value for money.

We will definitely stay here again when we visit London! Thank you for a lovely, memorable stay for our little family! Xxx

The two lady's behind the bar were amazing! So friendly and helpful! Kitchen stuff where lovely making us food which wasn't available yet as out of eveninf food times, then brought the food out to us themselfs, will 100% be staying there again, breakfast was lovely too. Perfect place to stay if your going to the o2 only 10-15mins away using a uber

The hotel was very clean. Room was fresh,clean and spacious. Very good size bed and very comfortable. Bathroom immaculately clean. Very quiet too considering near London City Airport. Check in was swift and hassle free. Dinner in the evening was nice. Only snag was bar service was slow but the staff were very polite. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and enjoyable. Plenty of cereals and pastries to enjoy. Cooked breakfast was minimal as could benefit from adding tomatoes,mushrooms and even hash browns as most other hotels offer this. Considering we were visiting Central London for 2 days and having to venture out of the city to stay at this hotel,it was well worth the journey and wouldn't put me off in the slightest in staying there again in the very near future. Stayed here for one night while visiting London to see Metallica and celebrate my sons 6th birthday.

The staff were exceptional. Made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Special thanks go to Paula and Jane, when they realised it was my boys birthday they made such a fuss of him. Paula asked if he was allergic to chocolate or ice cream and disappeared into the kitchen...she then returned with an enormous chocolate sundae made by the chefs who then sang happy birthday to him and my daughter as well.



A wonderful moment for me, and a really nice touch by the staff. It was his first visit to London and things like this restore your faith in humanity.

Stayed for one night while attending a conference at the Excel. Very convenient for this venue. There are cheaper hotels but judging by others said about these you get what you pay for !!

Check in quick with friendly welcoming staff, room very clean and comfortable. Good, reasonably priced food, restaurant very clean and well laid out.

Hotel room was very clean and comfortable just the noise of air con couldn't sleep well.

Food is bad we had a evening meal l did order a soup which was just a bit warm , then my partner had a lazane cold l sent it back then she had another one hot but dry obviously they took on shit on us because we sent back this. Lastly l had a warm chef salad which it was just a Cesar salad and the chicken should be very warm it was very cold . We thought to have a nice cosy meal at the end we have been very disappointed

Holiday Inn was an excellent choice of hotel for our visit to the 02. It was not only close to the venue but the hotel itself was immaculately appointed, the rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and the washing facilities were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice from the buffet including a cooked selection, cereals, fruit etc. We were lucky enough to get a very reasonable room rate as we had booked quite a long time in advance so it was well worth the money paid.

Had an excellent stay here. Our original room wasnвАЩt ready at checking in so they kindly gave us another room. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be staying again!!

Cannot say enough good things about our experience at this hotel. Absolutely lovely staff (especially Paula), very accessible rooms (but put soap at the lowered sink too please!) and room was spotless every time we returned. Great experience - weвАЩll be coming back here for every MCM London Comic Con from now on.

Very good price, staff very friendly, hotel were very happy for us to order food in. Room heating control was excellent, only 2 complaints 1) I didn't sleep well because the bed was so hard and uncomfortable. 2) The light from the heating control was really bright! I was really impressed with how sound proof the room was as we were so close to the airport. We will definitely use again on another visit. Transport there just brilliant.

Nice sized bed, lovely and clean. Shower was nice, bathroom very clean. Need more hangers. Also a mirror on the desk would have been great, the lighting for doing makeup is terrible.

Close to a train station that links to a tube, easy to get into centre of London. Close enough to the 02. Recommend the sky cable cars to cross the river.

Lovely clean hotel and could not fault the staff. Very easy to get to the Excel which is where we were attending an event and also really near the DLR for access to central London. The breakfast was impressive and included in the room price. The only complaint I have is how hard and uncomfortable the beds were, but would return.

Obviously very new - had 2 rooms. Toilet door lock didnвАЩt work in one room and sink leaked in the other!! Check in time was 2pmbut room not ready when we arrived at 4pm! Was told we would have to wait!! Not good enough as we had a quick turnaround before heading off to the O2.

Only down fall was on Saturday night after a busy day the whole hotel was evacuated at 01:30am due to a fire drill which turnt out to be a "technical issue". Not very good, had myself walking down and outside with no shoes on in a absolute panick. Woman and men with barely any clothes on. It was cold outside, took ages to get back to sleep after which led to is being very tired on the Sunday and ruined our day. Hotel staff was very friendly. We was greeted as IHG members. Breakfast was lovely! Would think about staying here again but I would like some kind of apology regarding the incident as we didn't have any when checking out or that night. It was rather off putting.

Hotel rooms clean and adequate. Lock on toilet door broken. NO √° La carte menu as stated... Limited menu with many items not available... Food received was not to a great quality, however the staff were very friendly and breakfast was disappointing, carpark available, at a tariff, on check in only but plenty of space.. Best thing here are the friendly staff....
