A new memory cafe in Kingsbury for people living with memory loss, carers & supporters. Every Friday 2-4pm, with a break the week after Christmas and on Good Friday. A warm welcome, music, gentle exercise, refreshments, social activities, and support. Held in a beautiful historic church, open for all religions and none. Wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet. No need to book but it would be helpful to know if you are planning on coming for the first time. ... Ring Natasha 020 8204 7531 or PM or comment if you would like more information.

Second instalment of our memory cafe being held this (& every) Friday 2-4pm, do spread the word, especially for anyone you know who may be having problems with their short-term memory, or would enjoy joining in with gentle activities & conversation. This week we'll have chair exercises, info about a local handyman service, singing, papers & refreshments.

Kiln theatre (formerly the Tricycle) are looking for stories of local people - about how people have looked after one another. I'm sure there is someone on here with a story like that!

To mark the 100th anniversary of the armistice at the end of the first world war we are holding an exhibition & flower festival, including There But Not There silhouettes sponsored by The Armed Forces Covenant Trust.
Opens Thursday 8 November at 7pm, with a short act of commemoration at 7.30pm. Christian service of remembrance on Sunday 11th November at 10am. See schedule for other visiting times.
Suitable for all ages and all faiths who wish to remember this important time at the site of (to our knowledge) Kingsbury's only first world war memorial.
