Welcome to Hopscotch Montessori's Facebook page. We are a small, accredited nursery in Oxted providing care for children aged 2 years to school age.

At Hopscotch Montessori Nursery we follow the Montessori Philosophy which emphasises the individuality of each child. We believe that children learn best in their own way at their own pace. The driving concept is the nurturing of the child's natural joy of learning.


Hopscotch Montessori Nursery is accredited with the Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board which aims to ensure that all schools using the Montessori name offer high quality education and care to children. It also acknowledges and supports good Montessori practice.


Our main aim is to provide a happy, stimulating child orientated environment in which the children can explore and learn freely. The classroom is specifically prepared for the children. Everything is child sized and safe for the children to use.
