What a great pub - popped in for some dinner and the food was good and a great price and ended up playing bingo. Bingo was fantastic and Sabrina who runs it is nice and welcoming. Defo recommend giving the Robin Hood a try.

We came today as I won the competition, it was also my mums birthday - from start to finish the staff were great, polite and friendly. Richard welcomed us with wine and the staff behind the bar and on the floor were brilliant also. We were all impressed & satisfied. It was extremely busy so waiting times were longer than usual but it was to be expected with a new menu! Thank you again everyone. X

Not sure if this pub is under new management .or they just have new staff but there is 100% improvement since our last visit, the service was quick the food was good and the staff were really pleasant. Would be happy to recommend this place .

I've recently started coming to the Robin hood to play BINGO on Thursday evenings. My friend and I are hooked! Its great fun, prizes are good especially as my friend keeps winning and Sabrina who runs it is so nice and friendly. Bingo on Thursdays is a must, highly recommended x

Hi we went to The Robin Hood (Hungry Horse) in Tunbridge Wells for my Brothers Anniversary last night.The food was very good for the price.The staff were excellent and very professional.I would really recommend a visit if you want a good evening out eating drinking and socialising.

Had a fab time at bingo on a Thursday, loving the Mac and cheese my friend and I have on the 2 4 £7.99 menu. Great little pick me up in the week.

Food was great ..nice big portions

Atmosphere was good and service was really good

The place was busy but still the staff acknowledge you and got to you asap..a great place to eat and chill

Been here on a number of occasions but last nights visit was probably the best! Food, service & prices great!

A large, clean, well run roadhouse/ pub/restaurant. Amazing selection of reasonably priced food, and the friendly, helpful staff go out of their way to accommodate individual choices. For instance, they totally adapted my "all day breakfast" to tailor it exactly how I wanted it. The coffee is super, and there is a large car park. Beautiful pub on a great setting. Highly recommended

Nice and friendly. .quick service ..we have always had a lovely meal here..unfortunately last night not even that busy .chicken popcorn sooooooooo burnt ..food cold ..two stack burger also both had burnt meat .chewy n dry .has huge potential needs a bit of quality control in kitchen

Have eaten here on several occasions and each time have been welcomed by friendly staff. Ordering at the bar can take time but frequently caused by other customers who haven't properly sorted what everyone in their group wants to eat and have forgotten their table number. Food always good and hot and well presented. Like their 2 meals for £7.99 as portions are slightly smaller which suits us perfectly. Will continue to eat there.

Had a very helpful NEW member of staff behind the bar when I ordered our food & drinks. Told me it was his 4th shift. It's a shame I can't remember his name as was very helpful with helping me take drinks back to our table. Also made sure that I ordered the right all day breakfast as you have more then one on menu, which I wasn't aware of. Only thing with the breakfast was the sausage was pre cooked, hard. Not very nice at all. Didn't expect it to be quite small portion so maybe should have gone for the bigger breakfast, know that for next time. Didn't have to wait long for our food which was good. Wasn't a busy time of day that we went so had a few places to choose to sit. We visited 14/08/17 around 5pm. Our table number was 30, please if you can tell the new member of staff he made our experience a good one & that we will return.

I have to say the food was good, reasonably priced and quite quick after my order, apparently the burger buns were recalled and my guest was offered bread and butter which was fine...although the restaurant was let down by the fact there was empty plates everywhere on empty tables which we had to move to get a table.. when we had eaten we had to have a conversation over dirty plates as they were not removed!! That was the only thing that let the place down...

Unsafe food. Reported to food standards agency with photographic evidence and green king!!! We got served a burger with a cold, clear raw egg in it. Sent it back, new one came in 3 minutes, I’m no Gordon Ramsay but I’m sure it would take a bit longer to cook and prepare a new one. Server was adamant it was all fresh, although the egg was now over cooked but the raw residue was on the burger and bun on the underside. Nice try but we don’t eat raw eggs and checked it straight away. Asked for my money back but had all on getting it after the same staff member argued that my meal was fine, I wouldn’t know as I didn’t touch it, we wanted to eat together. Then he wouldn’t refund the two colas we had as he said they were also fine but I stood my ground, why should we wait 40 mins for food that is not safe for human consumption and pay for drinks that were in on the meal anyway to then have him try and deduct them at full price?! In the end it was refunded in full after the barman/ server backed down and came off his high horse due to onlookers leaving instead of ordering food overhearing the argument taking place and him raising his voice. I’m making a point of putting locals and people I work with off this place due to the way we were treated and nearly given food poisoning. Won’t be back.

Me and my sister both ordered jacket potato for lunch today..cold on the outside and completely frozen on the inside...awful!!

I thought the service was poor.

Girl behind the bar was rude.

Ordered a bbq 10oz rib eye steak but they ran out of the rib eye so I asked if they could do it with a 9oz sirloin which they could but still wanted to charge me the full price.

Manager was unhelpful as much as possible.

Food came out cold and some bits missing.



On a plus side the beer was nice and cold.



Me and the family have decided not to go there again after our first and last visit.

Came here as we were passing and thought we would eat dinner here. We waited ages at the bar for ordering food, My partner had the wrong starter bought out and the mains weren't even edible, soggy chips, the ribs were covered in some watery gravy like stuff, couldn't even call it a sauce. The chicken on the skewers was bland, dry and generally not nice. I'm not a fussey eater and not one to leave food!! But unfortunately I definitely won't return here. Just a shame I paid a bill for food that was disgusting, I would of been better going to McDonald's.
