Meals were hot and plentiful. Service was quick, no hanging around or half of order being served quickly then waiting ages for te next half. Value for money and caters for all food allergies.

Wheelchair friendly in all departments.

Had dinner here with the kids after a long day at legoland food is cheap and tastes amazing staff were very friendly and ensured we were happy with the food and we didn't need anything would definitely recommend and will be back

Went for breakfast just before England smashed Panama 6-1. Big breakfast was well cooked and very tasty. The bacon could have done with being a bit crisper and I would have liked black pudding. All in all a great start to a fantastic day

The food is adequate for the price you pay. The only down fall is the state of the place. The table we had the floor was covered with crisps. We had a booth but the seating was filthy. It all needs a really good clean. The cutlery was not clean. I assume is was just water marks where they were left to dry. But it didn't look good.. Gordon Ramsay wouldn't like it.

Misread the menu as had looked online prior to arriving and saw website said Thurs to Sunday they do breakfast till 12pm, but when checking receipt for big breakfast ordered approx 11:20am instead of being 4.99 each it was somewhere between 7-8 pounds for each breakfast - which I thought was a bit unclear from the website and a bit steep for a breakfast to be fair from hungry horse. Staff advised this was because I'd ordered after 11am.



Breakfast was ok, fairly large in portions but had to chase some items that were forgotten and no butter given with toast so had to also chase that. Sausages weren't very nice but rest was ok apart from Bacon was a little cold and overly fatty.



Orange juice Luke warm obviously hadn't been in fridge.

It was a good night with a great atmosphere. Staff were great beer was spot on. Would make this a regular place to drink but unfortunately my daughter is 21 and when ID’d wasn’t served because you don’t accept provisional licences. Because of this I doubt it will someone my friends and family visit very much. Big shame as when my daughter is home from uni there is normally a large crowd of us but we will all have to go elsewhere because of a daft rule. Never been refused elsewhere because of this. The company is losing out on a lot of custom because of this I should imagine

Had the megasaurous steak 2/3 of it were pretty good but the rest was pretty bad as you couldn't cut through it.....mentioned it to one of the staff and he just picked up the plate and half heartedly said sorry about that......

Food was mostly OK(well mine was) The wife's was burned on the skillet and described as 'tasteless' by her. The biggest problem here is lack of staff.. They were rather glum and looked overworked. Some maintenance also required in the loos : Broken dryer in the ladies and a tap about to come out of its mounting in place Gents. Get this place right and it will be a good venue as the food price is good value for money.

We went yesterday for a family get together to say farewell to my sister as her and her family were moving up north, my brother in law booked the table for 18 or 20.. anyway, we got there and had 4 sets of tables 2 of 6 2 of 4.. football was on, which I don't mind but the decided to sit us right next to the massive tv and under the loudest speaker in the place.. so we couldn't talk to each other, couldn't hear each other.. absolutely awful.

Food:

My order she didn't hear me say 2 of the same dish.. so had to go and reorder mine after they'd brought out everyone else..

mum and dads order, dads starter came out, mums dinner came out.. dads dinner came out 45 minutes after her dinner and everyone else's dinner..

my nephews chips were stone cold..

All in all not a great send off to my sister!!!

Poor service, lackadaisical, looked totally bored, couldn't raise a smile ..tables sticky, food horrible. Kept us waiting to pay Bill while trying to sort some guys phone app out. even tho there was more than one till...barmaid totally ignored us and walked past several times. ..rude rude rude!

Our chosen "special" was an elaborate chicken burger, which arrived missing 6 out of the 10 items on the description. It was also not in a bun (it wasn't described with a bun, but being in a burger section of a menu you'd kinda think they'd make it obvious there's no bun). Poor lad serving us brought us all the components separately so we could construct our own burger! And took the menu to show the chef!

1 meal arrived after everyone else finished.

Another meal so over done the veg was stuck to the griddle pan.

Good chips though! And pretty quick.

I'm sorry but to the people who moan about the place you do get what you pay for and this is a place of cheap and cheerful meals. If you want better then you'll have to pay more. Food is never good but always ok, staff the same. The place could do with a good clean and a new menu but apart from that it's a nice place to go with the family and know it's not going to break the bank.

Wish I would of seen reviews before taking the family for dinner here. Glasses was so dirty I couldn't drink from it. Cutlery also like this! Toilet stink, went floors. Orders 3 meals and a starter. Starter come out with mains!! Chips tasted recooked! I ordered the hot chicken not hot at all or in any way. Lady behind bar wasn't not bothered one bit. Place was a state and we stuck to the tables. Never again will we eat there. Oh and the table opposite took 3 meals back and in the end got money back and walked out!

Went on Friday night. Ladies toilets in a disgusting state with napkins instead of toilet roll so toilets getting blocked. Screwed up toilet paper all over the floor. Don’t think floors been mopped.

Small children were running round the area collecting glasses and cleaning tables. Clearly belong a member of staff. The kid was cute but he kept coming over and interrupting our conversations at nearly 11pm this is not appropriate. Man serving drinks was more interested in football on tv and having chat that checking his orders. Paid for double. Watched him do a single and then when commented he just shrugged. Not been for ages as quality has gone down hill and won’t go again.

Went here for a 30th birthday party, which was booked well in advance and were promised to be given the back part of restaurant side due to having 3 children with us. Arrived to find we were given seating at entrance of restaurant, 2 tables of which were segregated from the rest of the group. Several times we noticed on a busy saturday night that there were at least four members of staff behind the bar but only one person serving.... Red Desperados ONE YEAR out of date, complained to the staff, were given a refund but the rest of the stock in the fridges were not date checked or removed. - only saving grace of the evening was the food.

Normally it's always been cheap and cheerful here and that's okay. But yesterday we went for a meal for my mums birthday and it was genuinely the worse meal I've ever had in a resturant. I am vegetarian, and the veggie options on the menu are limited (but what resturant isn't these days) so I ordered myself cheesy ciabatta to start and the cheese and potatoe pie for a main.

20 minutes after we ordered a member of staff came out and told me the pie was not available , so I sort of panicked a bit and just ordered the 'quorn' sausages and mash.

Then the starter came out...looks good so far. I take a bite and it tastes of bbq....random? I turn the bread over and it is covered in some sort of slimey bbq sauce. (The kind of sauce you get on a rack of ribs) It suddenly clicked in my head that in the kitchen my breads must have been on top of someone's ribs...As a vegetarian this really grossed me out and I brought it to the attention of a member of staff and they brought me out a new starter...however by the time it got to me the rest of my party had finished there's. After this I waited for my main (that I didn't really want) to come out. We were then served, again all looks good so far. I took a scoop of my mash and it's crunchy...the kind of crunchy you get when mash is in a microwave for too long. Then I eat the 'quorn' sausages. Only to find out they are not 'quorn' they are basically those vegetable fingers. Which I absolutely hate. So in the end I ended up just eating my crunchy mash and peas. The party I was with suggested I get a pudding as I was still rather hungry at this point, to which I replied that I couldn't think of anything worse than getting something else to eat here.

I would also like to point out that they did refund me the difference of my original meal and the meal I was made to order. However I did have to remind them several times.

I should just say that the young man who served us was very kind and helpful, so thank you to him for trying to make this awful meal better.

Majorly gone downhill � the time before last I found a hair in my pudding, it was red hair and the guy who served us had red hair too, apparently he didn't know where it came from �and after asking for a refund a couple of times they would only refund the pudding. Fast forward a bit, tried it out again recently and food was really poor and rushed. Didn't even say they had run out or forgotten the coleslaw on both adult plates, stuff from inside my burger had come out and was all over the plate, my sons corn on the cob had a good chunk missing and was brown and my daughters burger was almost fully on top of her baked beans like it had been rushed and chucked on there. Won't be going back again � toilets really gross too with urine and broken glass on the floor and all over the toilet

I ordered a gluten free, rare steak with salad and cheesy corn. What I got back was a well-done steak, with gluten containing chips, onion rings and nachos corn. I'd say that's a pretty big order fail.
