I am looking a patient between 18 & 35 years old with good oral health to be a case study for my Masters degree in Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry. The submission deadline is very tight so I have decided to give the work away free.
However the patient:
... Must have: • Relatively healthy gums • Require 2 new or replacement fillings. This could include changing a metal filling to a tooth-coloured one. • They must be side or back teeth not front. (i.e. behind the canines) • They must be able to have the fillings done in Tunbridge Wells by Monday Tuesday 20th Feb and be able to return for photographs by 28th Feb 2013. • Allow me to take before, during & after photographs and give me written consent to submit the case study to Manchester University for marking.
Must not: • Require tooth whitening • Have bleeding gums when they brush them • Have heavy smoking stain • Require other extensive dental work

DON'T DO DRUGS This is a case of Methamphetamine use- two of the side affects are tooth grinding and a dry mouth which leads to terrible tooth decay & broken down teeth. Last year I saw a 20 year boy who I had to refer to Hospital to have all his teeth extracted!!!

Probably the worst fitting crown I have ever seen (by a Bulgarian dentist working in the UK.) This patient has had serious problems with the gums resulting in a gum absess and lose of bone between the teeth. Please take care as some damage can be irreversible and you only get one set of adult teeth! Make sure you attend a dentist you know is good- do your homework and check with friends.
