Writing this as I’m sitting in here it was that good! The food was amazing! Very flavoursome, great portion size! The lunch menu was great value for money! Defo recommend and will be back again!

Went last night for the first time for my birthday date, and the service was absolutely amazing. Had a lovely meal food was amazing been looking for a good noodle bar that does good ramen and I wasn't disappointed. Very good value for money. The flora tea had me in awe I loved it and it tasted amazing. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends.

Went in this evening for ramen as my partner has been craving it for weeks but we didn't have time to sit in so ordered take out. Even though they don't have platic tubs for ramen we got our own and with the fact we had 20mins before we got home they partly cooked the noodles knowing that they would finish cooking in the broth. When we got home and tucked in it was like eating it fresh at the table. The food here is amazing and the fact they went out there way to ensure that the noodles wouldn't become soggy. Love coming to this place

My son has introduced me to Ichiban. On the few occasions I have been there I have thoroughly enjoyed the food and floral tea. The service has been great and the restaurant has always been clean and busy. Happily would recommend this establishment to my family and friends

Haven't been in for ages and we just dropped in. Wonderful food, lovely big portions you can share which is very tasty. You can sit and watch it being made, nice atmosphere doesn't seem very big place but you get plenty of space and the staff are great, really friendly and knowledgeable about the food on offer. We had a fantastic time with mouthwatering food!

First ever experience of proper Japanese food, had the seafood Ramen which was an absolutely colossal portion, it was fantastic but I couldn't finish it as I had been well fed that day. The lager was also lovely. I am not a beer drinker but I felt it was very smooth and sweet. Would definitely go back.

Been going to this place for years now. Was delighted the other day when one of the awesome staff recognized me n' my buddy as regulars. Has a great, trendy atmosphere that relaxes you if your coming in from shopping or in for lunch from work. Food is DELISH. Cannot beat it (wish I knew some of the recipes in fact). I'd highly recommend the ramen along with either char su, gyunika maki, chicken katsu or ebi gyoza. A nuclear bomb wouldn't stop me coming here.

Absolutely wonderful, I won't come to Glasgow without coming to Queen Street ichiban, lovely staff and amazing food every time, favourite place to eat out literally in the whole of Scotland :D

Absolutely love ichiban been going here for years foods always good love the sushi so fresh and tasty on a winters nite you can't beat wandering in and getting a large bowl of seafood udon, staff are very friendly love the new refit too highly recommended this to anyone sushi noodles and so much more

My cousin and myself visited there today Food is fantastic, but what let it down today was the service! Ordered food, the one starter was wrong obviously I got it changed which was fine. After we had finished and the table was cleared we said "we were okay for just now" but fancied some ice cream....then we sat there for half a hour nobody came up to us and we were just getting dirty looks from the staff, feeling pressured to leave (and there was nobody else in the the restaurant!) Then we decided just to leave and started putting our jackets on and as soon as we started the bill was placed in front of us with no warning, which is incredibly rude! We love it here and that's just put us off which is sad.

Over priced average food breadcrumb on katsu curried chicken burnt, steak rolls so tough you couldn’t get your teeth through them !! Avoid this place

My girlfriend and I are long time customers, who have been coming for years without a complaint. We've always been treated well, no matter the size of our party, with good food, but today was unbelievable. We'd been looking forward to coming in for ramen all day, and we came in, were immediately seated for a party of 2, and we waited for our orders to be taken, but they were not. We sat for twenty minutes without anyone coming over, not even to take our drinks order. I may have understood if the restaurant was crowded, but it was not; everyone apart from one other table had been served. There were staff members walking between tables who appeared to have nothing important to do, but still did not come over. After getting increasingly frustrated, we were fed up of waiting and left. As we stood up, 2 members of staff were in our vicinity, but as we left the table they appeared to find something better to do than to come over to ask us what was wrong, and walked in the opposite direction. This was the first time either of us had walked out of a restaurant before. As stated, we are both long term regular customers of the restaurant and if we were ever to come back we sincerely hope the service has improved.
