The ICON Textile Group is part of the Institute of Conservation, the UK’s leading voice for the conservation of our precious cultural heritage.
Icon Textile Group Description
The Textile Group remains one of the largest Icon groups. We have an active committee who meet regularly to organise an annual programme of events, training and visits. We would welcome suggestions for future activities and offers from institutions willing to host a workshop, visit etc.
The main event organised by the group is the annual Spring Forum. This remains a key date in the conservation calendar, and is a great opportunity to learn, debate and network with other conservators.
