The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide has named Imperial College London as University of the Year 2022.

A superb institution, I went there to have lectures in their music department a brilliant experience. They don't have music courses but they have a music department as supposedly scientists who are also musicians makes for more creative and innovative scientific thinking. Maybe performing music stimulates parts of the brain that develops a sympathetic interaction that helps leaps of thought. A study worth evaluating.
A world class university with excellent research. It is specifically focused on science, technology and medicine. The South Kensington campus is the main one and houses most of the departments and they have various other campuses and hospital spread around London. I'm giving 4 stars because their internal catering called Imperial Catering was and is absolutely awful always giving greasy low quality food. Overall, one of the best technical universities with a rigorous education and research.
Excellent undergraduate education, especially in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering. My opinion on this is in no way biased by me being the Director of Undergraduate Studies in said department. It really is rather good, and we are nice too.

Highly professional workplace. Considerable efforts and significant funding allocated towards improving the student experience.
Spent some great time here during 1985-88 and 1993-97. The memory is as vivid as yesterday. It is certainly not a walk in the park, but stretches you all the way intellectually. Thank you. #imperialcollege #engineering #science #teaching #research
