Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in London working together with Volterra Fieta and Essex Court Chambers have organized a seminar titled “State and Diplomatic Immunity in English Courts – Practical Perspectives on Avoiding and Dealing with Adverse Legal Claims” at the Indonesian Embassy on 27 November 2018. The event which attended by more than 50 participants from Diplomatic Corps and International Legal Academics from around London have discussed an array of issues relating to implementation of State Immunity and Diplomatic Immunity that are stipulated by the Vienna Convention 1961 and its relevance to domestic laws and regulations, along with required practical measures and follow up in facing legal claims.
