Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, you’re about to behold a sight so stupendous, so mindblowing, so utterly - On second thought, perhaps let’s not put too much pressure on the artist here.
Dina Rebekka Norlund is a Norwegian illustrator and visdev artist who specialises in character design and storytelling. Although she has spent the last few years working in house, Dina has recently gone fully rogue - oops, freelance - to pursue her own projects, including her crowdfunde...d children’s book Greylegs.
At this year’s grand event, Dina will be spoiling us with a dashing duo of demonstrations: A rare and ferocious watercolour creature design from a faraway land, and a lesson in narrative illustration to delight the mind and dazzle the senses!
So don’t be shy, step right up and witness an artistic spectacle you’re bound to remember for a while - or at least until workshop drink hour rolls around!

Born and raised in Spain, Ricardo Robles is a creative designer whose artistic expertise ranges from concept art to graphic design and prop fabrication. He currently works in the video game indus...try, staving off the gloom of our decidedly un-Spanish weather with various personal projects.
Ricardo will be taking us through his character creation process from start to finish, bequeathing lessons of ideation, shape design, and rendering to our hungering souls. And if that isn’t enough, Ricardo is more than happy to answer any (ANY) questions you may have, a proposition he is likely to regret at some point.

Rich Carey is a freelance concept artist who specialises in characters & creature design, spending much of his professional life working in the video games industry. He has consumed his own weight in overtime food having worked on several AAA titles and indie projects (including the Total War: WARHAMMER series). He has a breadth of experience in crafting memorable, unique designs with a strong sense of flair that is consistent throughout his work.
Rich utilises his unique bl...end of strong draughtsmanship skills, a mastery of anatomy, an interest in asian culture and artistic styles, and a love for the natural world to create vibrant monsters, creatures and characters that are instantly loved and recognisable. He has watched more anime than he has read books, and if you’re an artist of his calibre then that’s nothing to be ashamed of.
With these strong fundamentals, Rich’s designs are not only well grounded and believable, but place him a class ahead of other artists working in the concept art field. During his demo you will see how Rich creates his designs from the ground up, from initial sketch to final design, and will happily answer questions along the way. You can expect his demo to be colourful and vibrant!

A scholar and a gentleman (again - don’t tell him we said that!) of a great many staggeringly successful motion pictures, who will be imparting knowledge that very few others on the planet can.
