Reviews
This was the first time I had travelled abroad with my motor bike. I found the staff at the Pembroke side of things most helpful and courteous ,as were the lads who battened down my bike. This allowed me to get my cabin key and get on getting ready for bed which included a nice hot shower. The cabin was clean and ready for me and I was soon in bed asleep. Getting off was as well organised and I have no doubts I will use this route and ferry again .
Thank you Irish Ferries for your outstanding service today. We were late due to traffic in Cardiff and having to stop for fuel. The gentleman in the freight department was so calm and gentle with me when I called, the lovely calm lady in your inquiries department, the lady at your ticket office who was waiting for us to tell us we could board, the two gentlemen at your check in booth and then your gentlemen on board waiting for our car to park. Your service was overwhelmingly outstanding. Many thank yous to each and every person that helped us along our journey home.
Great crossing from Pembroke to Rosslare, lovely ship and highly efficient staff; pleasant and courteous. Club class excellent with great selection of snacks and a couple of glasses of wine included. 25% discount on shopping. Frequent traveller in the Oscar Wilde, Cherbourg-Rosslare too and also great.
Good trip, clean and tidy vessel, food was good and beer cold, staff were polite and friendly. Money exchange on board saves hasle when you land in a different country, in Australia standards simular to Ferry from Vic to tazie
Fantastic service and so helpful. Can’t thank them enough. They towed our lorry to get us started. Thanks so much.
Easy crossing for our motor home no troubles at all and able to stay safely in car park at rosslare overnight which is right next to a lovely beach great for walking the dog and stretching our legs.
Beautifully laid out design, comfortable, and spacious, with pubs, restaurants and a large store where prices are of the 'duty free' variety. And for those who want to pay the extra 18£ the club level allows for a somewhat quieter space with enough room to relax or work (free wifi). And the staff is courteous and pleasant.
Would have given it a five, but I paid extra for priority boarding and disembarking. About 30 cars were let off before us.... most of which did not have the signs which showed they had paid for this. You need to be more careful, because although it may not seem much to you, it is very irritating to have paid extra for the privilege and then not got it!
Very prompt service. Easy boarding. Club class lounge on Deck 11 but the lift only goes as far as Deck 9.....why?
Seamless professional and relaxing thank you
It is grand port the staff are very friendly and helpful if running bit late you can give them a call they do there best for you just like the lads in Rosslare in general it is grand port to sail in and out off
I found the staff friendly and helpful and the boat clean too. I just found the 11th deck so far up for club lounge though!
We have used Irish Ferries for years and have always paid for Club Class with priority loading. This time ICT problems. Left queuing for over the hour of expected check in with no explanation. Very poor service. Club class was the worst ever. Poor selection of food considering we had prepaid. Not impressed at all this time. May have to reconsider sailing with them.
The boat and crew are exellent. But the company they're a ripoff. Had to stay in Ireland an extra day so changeing the ticket cost me £62 . On the next trip to Ireland I got the clock mixed up booked my trip for 2.45 instead of 14.45 turned up at the dock and had to pay £72 to change the ticket.Stenna line for me from now on.
On both occasions we were 3 hours delayed staff in most of ship were not nice or helpful we were given vouchers for meals are we were told which ended up begin tea znd biscuits
Having used irish Ferries for years I was very disappointed to find out how much cleaning took place mid route on our 2.45am crossing on Wednesday morning. I've aways preferred Irish ferries over stena line for the staff and facilities however to hear nothing but clattering, hoovering and repairs for 4 hours whilst travelling with a young infant was very disappointing. I hope we have a better return sailing this coming week. I understand this duty is a must but your passengers pay enough for you to do this while the ship is out of service or on turn around between sailings.
Very long delay no explanation :( took forever to board run out of beer
Ferry was 3 hours late, no real apology, food voucher given, but couldn't be used in the premium lounge. I remember now why I always use Stena!
Typical polish crewed boat and to top it off they wake you 30mins befor docking what use is that to get a shower and go get breakfast me and my Mrs missed out on it not even a cup of tea 😡
