The results speak for themselves!!! ūüí™ . In only 12 short weeks, the people who could attend the last session only four) managed to have a combined increase in weight of 195kg on the prowler. . Now that's what I call a PB!
Do you struggle with pull ups or find that your profession has slowed down or plateaued? . Well try this cheeky little hint . Underarm pull downs on the cable machine. By keeping the same fundamental movement patterns, it will help your development with easier increments to make your progress quicker

How to tell if it's been a hard classūüėāūü§£ūüėÖ
There are many different types of squats, each conducted for a different purpose . In the Weight Training & Muscular Development class we look at isomeric and eccentric squats and focus on a slow concentric . Give these a try in addition or as an alternative to your normal, more commonly chosen squat.
Give these a try! . A challenging alternative to the traditional suicide press up . Keeping your body straight and your hips parallel to the ground, raise your hands independently to an elevated platform either side of your body...The higher the platform the harder the exercise... . @sar_j_clarke using this exercise as a finisher to a grueling circuit.

Thought of the day: "Don't let fear hold you back!" . When clients Steve Frost came to me he was extremely cautious to say the least with regards to training. In previous years he has unfortunately caused serious injury to his back due to training incorrectly, which has left him very anxious about doing a large majority of things. .... However through trust and determination he has overcome these fears to become stronger than even I was expecting . Here Steve is at the top faze of what I call an 'Adapted RDL' for the lower back. Done correctly this exercise will not only increase the strength of the posterior muscles and decrease lower back pain but help prevent injury in the future.

Another day draws to a close and another mind blowing session that has left me overwelmed and proud as punch (excuse the pun) . If you are one of the many people that secretly follow ISFitness from a far, yet continually mention to me "I love the posts... The people always look really happy like they're having so much fun" . Quite possibly the best PT in the land. FACT! Massive respect to this guy for completely adapting my training for any goal I have been pursuing... and with me, these are certainly erratic... from boxer (concentrating on technique and skill) to bikini competitor (where he has completely transformed my physique so that I am ready for stage). Most importantly though, the transformation in my mindset and confidence has been incredible. Steve focusses heavily on making you believe that you can achieve ANYTHING... and whilst training with him, I believe that this is very much the case - my strength and beliefs are so different to what they were a year ago. Looking forward to working towards my next challenge and continuing the journey with this super experienced and professional coach. I couldn’t recommend him more!
Great range of equipment, great instruction to achieve goals, great classes, but more uniquely a great atmosphere, great group of people and a hugely supportive environment no matter what you want to achieve.
Great gym, great people and a brilliant coach. Lots of positive reinforcement along with the pain. I’d highly recommend the classes to anybody that is thinking about getting in (or back in) shape. Don’t be shy, come along and join the fun
