From the beginning God took us we Israelis out of Egypt by dividing the red sea through Moses, Joshua gathered all the tribe and far be it for us to forsake. We shall serve thy LORD for he is our God.

As someone who has been lucky enough to travel to Israel a number of times for work & to have studied the region & I feel the need to provide just a few facts to those whose entire knowledge of the Israel / Palestinian situation is based on a misleading map produced by the anti-Israel lobby that is about as historically accurate as Game of Thrones.



Many misinformed commentators blithely ignores the deep historic connection of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel going back 3,000 years. While noting the 700,000 Muslim Arabs who fled the fighting in 1948, they say nothing about the expulsion of nearly a million Jews at the same time from Arab countries and that whereas Israel absorbed Jewish refugees and gave them equal rights, Arab countries kept Palestinian refugees in camps to be used as political fodder against Israel.



In reference to the 1967 Six-Day War, It should be clarified that UN Security Council resolution 242 which called for the withdrawal of territories acquired by Israel also required the Arab states to recognise Israel’s right to exist. They refused, that is until the signing of the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt in 1979.



It is wrong to say the security barrier built along the West Bank border was designed to seize Palestinian land. The barrier was a response to the murder of 1,100 Israeli civilians by terrorists who easily crossed from the West Bank into Israel during the Second Intifada. The purpose of the barrier is entirely to protect the lives of Israeli civilians, and the Supreme Court, which adjudicates in territorial disputes regarding the barrier, sometimes in fact decides against the Israeli government.

Time and again Israel made concessions on land, giving up parts of the West Bank and in 2005 the whole of Gaza, but every concession made by Israel resulted only in more terrorism from the other side. Israel still hopes to find a partner for peace so that there can be a final agreement based on bilateral negotiations resulting in two states for two peoples, the State of Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people and a Palestinian state for the Palestinian people.



Any comparisons between Ireland & Israel's history would actually be more accurate to depict Israel as the Ireland of the middle-east, a people & a nation that has been rebuilt after years of occupation & colonisation by the Ottoman Empire.



Anti-Israel camapaigners claim Gaza is undergoing a “siege”. Apart from the fact that Israel directly supplies Gaza with civilian goods, They never mention that Gaza has been controlled by Hamas since 2007, Hamas who have fired about 15,000 rockets into Israel over the years and the only reason relatively few Israeli civilians have been killed is because about a million Israelis live with bomb shelters and the defence system Iron Dome is usually successful in defending Israeli communities. Whereas in wartime Hamas uses its own civilians as human shields and tries to kill Israeli civilians, Israel does its utmost to protect its own civilians and does not directly target civilians on the other side. Peace can only come with mutual compromise something that at the moment Hamas are not interested in. If Israel was to disappear in the morning what it would be replaced by would be a war between Hamas/Hizbollah & Fatah resulting in more deaths than have ever been seen during Israeli times.

after 2 days of trying to reach the embassy, I was finally answered but received the poorest service possible. Told the service representative that I HAVE looked online for the service I need and yet have not found the answer and all I wanted was a simple guidance through the website. I was told to look it up on the website and that was it. She didn't want to help, or for at least listen and eventually hung up the phone on me. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! this is not the service I would expect from the Israeli embassy as an Israeli citizen living in the UK.

Stop supporting the killing of children . this invasion is not self_defence. As usual it is Israel who broke the cease-fire. You know this. You know that Israel over the years is always fitting at farmers in Gaza, using extra-judicial executions, firing at fishermen, destroying infra structure. And always trying to provoke a reaction so you can say "self-defense!". Why were the deaths of your 3 teenagers kept secret for so long? You should realise that ordinary intelligent people around the world can see what you are doing.

Remember The time when Israeli soldiers entered a Palestinan Hosptial and shot dead a wounded man lying in bed. And then when the story broke in the UK, the Israeli embassy threaten the BBC that they would be kicked out of Israel unless they changed the headline to a more "Israeli friendly" headline. The State of Israel deserves nothing more then a speedy dismantlement and to be tried for war crimes.

I read an article by Michael Sawdy ,in "biblical teachings israel" in 2015 , that said in ,regards to , "the promised land" , " in God’s Eyes, those living in modern-day Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, parts of Turkey, and PALESTINE, are all “OCCUPYING” Land which Almighty God says BELONGS to Israel." So what does that mean ? I also looked on wikipedia and found the same thing , however some maps i came across had saudi arabia marked out as within the promised land as well , very confusing , so , what im asking is , is this true , are all thosecountries mentioned part of the promised land ? And if they are when does israel plan to invade them also ?

Disgusting display of intolerance and violence , way beyond what is necessary to fight off kids with stones. Shame on you

Called this place they call an embassy this morning because I was enquiring on adoption a child from Palestine and I was told I had to go through israel embassy. Well I've heard how rude they can be but didn't think they was this rude till toady basically answered with an attitude and while I was still asking questions she closed the phone on me, after taking 2 days to answer.
