This was our second visit as we love the food as the steaks are always cooked just the way we like them and great value for money.

A great J.D.Wetherspoon's with cheap beer, and food.

Guest ales start at Β£2.15 a pint, which is good value for this part of London.

Conveniently located next to the Docklands Light Railway Station, Cutty Sark, so easy to get too.

Nice atmosphere inside, and plenty of room.

When visiting my son we come here for tea, food was quick and good, bar and waiting on staff both nice and attentive. The overall thing I find with all wetherspoons is tables aren't clean I always have to ask before I get my food!

This has to have been our 4th visit here this year, having a bite to eat before heading off into central London to see a show each time food has been spot on.

Unfortunately on this occasion not so good ordered our usual garlic ciabatta bread with cheese and 14oz Aberdeen Angus steak medium rare this time it was served well done and I mean very well done in the wrong term of slang. I pointed this out to a member of staff who asked if we wanted a replacement but not having enough time for this after speaking with the management we were given a refund as I couldn't even eat mine and fiancΓ©e struggled through to finish hers. I did ask did they have a new chef as previously we had eaten here and had no problems whatsoever

I like it here because its not like your usual wetherspoons with local alcoholics poncing drinks off yu like most of the others ive been to.More tourists than locals. I get to sit out front if I'm lucky and smoke a large cigar with my pints and the sights you see are funny too , not as clean really as others ive been too but the fun makes up for it...

Have been here many times, this time for breakfast.

Arrived around 8.45 am Wednesday last.

As always very clean good customer service and did not have to wait long.

Unfortunately the meal was not as hot as it should have been especially the baked beans.

Our friends egg benedict was not that warm either.

Pity bit of let down this visit.

Won't stop us coming because it is one of the best Wetherspoons about.

We have visited many all over the country in the last few years.

Good variety of beer, good curry and good atmosphere.

Very popular busy pub, decor could do with refreshing but well worth a visit.

User

Food was good , but we were chasing corn on the cob till we got refund in the end . Staff friendly and helpful (some of them)

User

A very nice place for a drink and eat .

User

I must admit the queue at the bar was not impressive on a Friday night there should be more staff

Have been here many times, very big and busy pub so thoughts of service always come with that in mind, served fairly quickly, majority of the staff are very pleasant and interactive ☺️ have had many a great night with friends and partner πŸ‘Œ of course drinks are cheap and that is a beautiful thing πŸ˜… cheers 🍻 security do their job well and are very mindful that people are drinking and getting drunk and therefore are very forgiving. E.I was told I couldn't wear my hat 🎩 100 times but kept forgetting cause I was drunk and didn't want to lose it.. plus I love my hat ❀️ however the only thing that has let this pub down.. is the men's toilets.. can't rate the women's cause I ain't used them yet.. which I have been tempted to do a few times considering.. but yeah please please please!! Fix your toilet doors I think out of 4 cubicles only one of them locks πŸšͺ πŸ™ƒ and the toilets 🚽 tend to be dirty.. may clean a bit more often.. but defo need locks on the doors πŸ€“ that way I can use another toilet without having to ask the inconsiderate knob head not to piss all over the toilet seat as most men piss like a 4 year old and that's most men without a drink πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ anyway yeah maybe I feel I should give 4 stars.. kinda feeling bad for the 3 cause again it is a nice place.. but yeah man... the toilets πŸ€— would have been a 5 star rating if the toilets had been better.. anyway sorry if there's any spelling mistakes.. I'm very tired 😴 and maybe still slightly drunk 😡 from last night.. but I'm not correcting it all as clearly you can see I've written too much πŸ€” anyway love you lots.. keep up the good work and I'll see make up all soon πŸ˜ƒ happy shitting people πŸ’© . P.s was on the toilet when I wrote this.. FYI.. clean one ☝️ so yeah.. funny how back in the day people used a newspaper or a book πŸ“š now we just give ratings on Facebook πŸ€” hmm too much information?? Yeahhh maybe? Oh well.. okay for real.. seriously.. gonna go now........ ..... night x

Had a great lunch there yesterday with My daughter in law for her birthday x nice salads calorific puds and two bottles of rose x staff all friendly and helpful x

User

Apart for the fact the manager was unhappy serving me a pint of John Smiths when they had supposedly superior real ale on tap it was ok. Had a decent burger and the company was good. The added bonus was we went in to win.

Where do I start!! First of all my husband was kept waiting at the bar to be served, as his dad got served then he was told to wait, as the guy behind the bar went away for a while, my other half was till waiting for over five mins to be served. Secondly, he ordered me fruit with Greek yougurt only to be served with chopped up fruit and no yougurt. The guy at the bar punched it in the till incorrectly. They did get my my cappuccino right, which was very nice. Thirdly, the coffee machine on the bar was empty, so my hubby asked the man behind the bar it was empty, and the man just looked at him. He then asked if he could have an coffee from the machine behind the bar, but yet again the man just looked at him again, my hubby had to ask again for a coffee from the machine behind the bar. A young lady came over and we had to tell her there was no coffee left so she promptly went away to refill it. Apart from that the food was lovely and the girl that served us at the table was very good. I think all in all the young guy behind the bar may have been new to the job and I also think he may have a bit of a language barrier due to English not been his second language. I felt quite sorry for him.

We went in for a cheap breakfast, and that’s what we got. A lukewarm breakfast with one uncooked egg, but plenty of hot coffee. Grubby tables and cutlery and disgusting toilets, even by Wetherspoons standards- but kind of did what it said on the tin!

User

Nice venue, attentive staff, but food lets it down, after odering get a steak (medium rare) and my friend a chicken dish,we waited 40mins which was OK as it was busy, but when food arrived it was cold and way over cooked, both steak and chicken way dry

User

had 2 breakfasts that when they arrived were luke warm and one had no bacon with it.i spoke to the bar man who obviously couldn't understand me,as a result i never got my bacon!probably the second worse wetherspoons we've been in after chatham, grotty!need to get their act together.

User

The worst place in the chain, lousy service, waiting time for food 30 minutes and for drinking one hour, and the service of the unpleasant staff, the tables are not cleaned and the glasses and plates accumulate

User

The staff are rude and you have to wait to long for service.

It smells and the tables are sticky.
